Interesting they're not keeping in line with the MMWs and not ending on #99, but "breaking" into MMW Vol. 11 and including #100-104 i.e. Roy Thomas 6-armed Spidey issues hence the DM cover. Also first appearance of Morbius.

I wouldn't take too long in picking up the Daredevil Companion Omnibus, I can see that going OOP in the not too distant future.

Id get it during this sale at IST but just short of having enough in my paypal. I guess 3% is only $3 off 100 so it's not like it's a deal breaker, I'm much more worried about things I want going OOP. These books are expensive but very gratifying .

Finally! Great news indeed. I expect that DM variant will sell out in 30 minutes or less at anything under cover price. That standard cover is pretty disappointing. My only complaint, we should already have v3, this should be v4 with the death of Gwen and first Punisher appearance. It will probably be another 4 years before we see that.

doubt it, it just came out. I think they had shipping issues and retailers expecting more stock in a few weeks.

One step closer to having the Death of Gwen/Green Goblin collected in Omnibus. Thats what I'm really looking forward to. Hope this puts up big sales numbers to expedite the process

The contents of the fourth volume have been actively discussed by the collections editor and the moderator of the MMW forum, and I'd like to think that's because they're thinking about getting it out there instead of putting it on the back burner. There was an issue that was going to be in here that's being saved for the next book, to be specific.

I've always liked Gil Kane's DC work, his Silver Age Green Lantern work is definitive for the character imo. Most anyone stepping in after JR would be in a disadvantage.

If you order from IST, you're going to get at least 42% off, possibly even 45%. All Marvel and DC books have a mimimum discount of 42%. The first week of release 45-50% discount. The 3% is a possible additional discount on top of the "regular" discount.

I can't see the regular cover selling out too soon. The Doctor Strange movie hasn't even come out yet and I'm sure that movie will generate a lot of interest towards the omnibus. I think Marvel is smart enough to know that, well hopefully lol.
