    I'm going for Jim Lee.

Stoked about the Silver Age Fantastic Four vol.4 announcement yesterday!!
Keeps hope alive that one day SA Invincible Iron Man vol. 3 and SA Incredible Hulk vol.2 may one day show themselves.

So up to now, Amazon had War of the Realms Omni as "back in stock in a month or two", but now it's listed as "temporarily out of stock".

What's that mean? Did it really go out of print that soon? Will it be restocked any time soon, or is it gone for good?

I have been patiently waiting for oversized Deluxe edition hardcovers of the Hickman written X-Men books. I could care less about the rest of the line - only Hickman's work. We got HoX/PoX deluxe HC last year - when's the monthly being collected? Hopefully they are collected with his Giant Sized one shots.
    Currently Reading:
BPRD Omnis, Berserk Deluxe Editions, Hickman's X-Men, Milligan's Shade the Changing Man, League of Extraordinary Gentleman Omni, Vertigo Hellblazer trades
Current issues of Savage Dragon and Spawn.

Most likely means they are out and it is gone for some time.

Also, since you liked Davis's X-Men run, you'll definitely like his work on Excalibur.......You might also want to check out ClanDestine (Marvel, Davis's work on ClanDestine is in a fully collected hardcover), if you haven't read that, along with The Nail & Another Nail (Which are from DC). Also, Superboy's Legion.
Thanks. From the first Excalibur omni, I've heard good things about the Cross Time Caper, and I see issues 12-30 are collected in one TP. Is that readable on its own?

Also, man, I cannot get into Clandestine. I've read the X-men/Clandestine mini and the recent annuals that Davis wrote for FF/Thor/Wolverine. They're too out there and... meh. haha

What I'd love is a Warren Ellis omnibus. He's done so many awesome short runs here and there; Extremis, Astonishing X-men/Ghost Boxes, Moon Knight, Secret Avengers.

Yes, great news re: FF Vol. 4. I'm really hoping for a Daredevil Vol. 2 Omnibus (even though I have all the MMWs ) and a Captain America Vol. 3 is long overdue.

    Don't care for Windsor-Smith's art.
And I think I might just go with the Barry Windsor-Smith cover.

These early issues, it's just nonstop bickering. Non-stop bickering. Like I have two kids and they bicker all the time, I don't want to read that in a comic. I realize they were going for realism, but c'mon. I also realize that Stan and crew were trying to feel things out at the beginning of all the titles, but FF vol 1 was just a chore for me. No more a chore than Thor or any other, so perhaps it will be your cup of tea.
Lol. I also have 2 kids but they are not old enough to bicker with each other

Is it so bad that you don't wanna finish it?

At some point, they'll get to Shadow of the Empire in the Rebellion era, too, but that seems a ways off . . .
I haven't really been keeping up with these books but after some research I really wanna get all of the New Republic books.

I find it curious that they had the sequel to SotE already collected but not the first one?

The first volume of the NR era is OOP and pretty expensive after market (say, $65 give or take) and covers the SotE sequel and Mara Jade comic, among other things. It's kind of a hodge podge, rather than a thematic collection (like the next 4 NR era volumes). I think there will be three more NR era volumes after Dark Empire - one for Crimson Empire, one for Leviathan/Union/Boba Fett, and one for Chewbacca/Invasion (or that will be a singular volume of the NJO era).

SotE isn't collected yet because they appear to be going v1, v2, ... through each era individually. SotE is certainly "Rebellion" era, probably v5 or v6 but maybe even v7 (I'm having trouble parsing what all has or has not been collected in this era, but it seems like Shadows of the Empire will be in the last Rebellion volume, however the numbering works, unless they put all the Dark Forces books together in this era).

    What else'd be awesome?

A Young Avengers omni, with all of Heinberg' run, Civil War and Secret Invasion tie-ins, YA Presents, and other misc appearances here and there. Hell, throw in the Gillen run too.
