Got the DnA GOTG Omnibus last week after about 4 weeks shipping from the UK(wtf) and it was worth the wait! Great upgrade from the HCs. Dare I say that the quality seems to be just as good as a couple of years ago before the thin-paper gate.

Looking forward to reading it, and the Hickman Avengers/Secret Wars OHCs I got as well.

I think I've re-caught the comics bug, as I won an Auction for a book I'd sold off previously

    2. Captain America (Silver Age) Vol. 3 (#149-192, Annuals)

    3. Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 2

    5. Daredevil Shadowland (Dark Reign The List: Daredevil, Daredevil Vol. 2 #501-512 & After The Fall, Shadowland #1-5, Shadowland Tie-ins: Blood On The Streets #1-4; Moon Knight #1-3; Power Man #1-4; Street Heroes – 7 issues; Thunderbolts #148-149, and Daredevil Reborn #1-4 and possibly material from DD #500 and pgs. 4-5 from Black Panther: The Man Without Fear #513)

    6. Daredevil (Silver Age) Vol. 2

    7. Wolverine Vol. 2 (#11-31, Annuals, MCP appearances & other mini-series)

    8. Iron Man by David Michelinie Vol. 2 (#216-250, Annuals 8,9)

    9. Iron Fist (Marvel Premiere #15-25, Iron Fist #1-15, MTU #63-64 and any relevant MCP & MTU appearances)

    10. Golden Age Captain America Vol. 2 (#13-24)

Each year, I will keep voting for the Daredevil run by Denny O’Neill, Klaus Janson, David Mazzucchelli & Others and just maybe one day it will make it.
We had a lot of similarities. I think I'd like to see the cover for issue # 200 serve as a potential omnibus for DD

Didn't have time to post this earlier, but here was my votes, where they finished in parentheses.

    1) Spider-Man: Alien Costume Saga/DeFalco (NR)
    2) Punisher by Rucka (42)
    3) Thunderbolts by Busiek (11)
    4) Civil War v1 (NR)
    5) Shadowland (31)
    6) Ultimate Spider-Man v2 (13)
    7) Runaways by BKV (44)
    8) Amazing Spider-Man v4 (5)
    9) Uncanny X-Men v4 (1)
    10) Daredevil by Nocenti (12)

I was surprised Civil War was unranked. I'd love a set of this under the condition it's all placed in proper chronological reading order, unlike the box set that was separated by different titles. I also expect it would sell very well.

Cool. I'd be interested to see your top ten

Btw, I considered the cover to Daredevil #200 by John Byrne but I thought it just a little too "brutal" for an Omnibus cover. It's a pretty good cover, however.

So I got the Bendis Guardian's omnibus for 33, a book seller on ebay put a lot of copies on at first they did it for 33 I was able to grab one before the bumped the price to the 60. How is the back half of his run, and the Avengers Assemble portion with Thanos? As that is alos in the omnibus, read the first part of the run and it was okay, but could not turn down that deal.

Personally if New Mutants Omnis were in the offing, I would want all issues, plus the mini-series of the likes of Fallen Angels, X-Terminators and even Firestar included.

Any chance this would ever be considered?

That's what DM variants are for! I'd buy it, though I'd buy it no matter what was on the cover.

X-Terminators was already in the Inferno OHC; whether it would also be in a hypothetical second NM omni, I don't know. (I would guess yes, since most of the X-Terminators joined the Muties soon afterward.) Fallen Angels seems likely, since it covers what Sunspot and Warlock were doing while they were gone, and there's precedent for it (the last UXM omni including the first Wolverine miniseries.)

I would say the Firestar mini is the least likely to be included. Both because she ended up not really being an X-character, and because it takes place over the course of years, so issues one and two would have to be in the first omni, and then three and four in the second, or something like that. It would be kind of weird. Also, the New Mutants are barely in it. But that said, it's always possible!

    I would buy the following:

Full list with placements from last year:

    1 Uncanny X-Men Vol. 4 AKA by Claremont/JRJR (was 1)
    2 New Mutants, Volume 1 (was 2)
    3 X-Men: Post-Massacre / Pre-Fall (was 16)
    7 Fantastic Four, Vol. 4 (was 8)
    15 X-Factor (2006) by Peter David, Vol. 1 (was 30)
    16 ROM, Vol. 1 (was 25)
19 Avengers by Roger Stern, Vol. 1 (was 49)
25 X-Men Legacy by Mike Carey, Vol. 1 (was 51-56)
30 She-Hulk by Dan Slott (NEW)
    31 X-Factor (1986), Vol. 1 (was 13)
    37 X-Factor (1986) by Peter David (was 38)
    44 Runaways by BKV (NEW)
53 Thor: God of Thunder by Aaron & Ribic ( NEW)
58 Captain Marvel by Peter David, Vol. 1 (NEW)
    59 House of M (NEW)
67.5 Academy X/New Mutants by Defillipis and Weir (NEW)
67.5 Uncanny X-Men by Kieron Gillen (NEW)
    Avengers: Galactic Storm (was 51-56)

Krisis - I've just read your #59 HoM write-up; great job!
    http://crushingkrisis.com/2017/05/ho...-omnibus-2017/

Just a thought; have you accounted for HoM: Avengers, Civil War & Masters of Evil miniseries too in the proposed page counts?
The 2 AoA omnibus collected later material too, so I'd be upset if Marvel collected the same HoM OHC material again as omni without these 3 additional miniseries. Also potential Spider-verse / Secret Wars material (although I've not read these 2, so not sure how relevant?)
Tough call because you start moving into a 3-book split at some point; HoM + Companion + Decimation

A pure Decimation Omnibus could collect the post-HoM Claremont & Milligan material though (Uncanny #466-474 / X-Men #177-187, to bridge up to Brubaker & Carey taking over) - for those wanting a clean HoM-divide in the collected material.
