Funny how a Punisher omnibus sells twice as much as a Batman omnibus. DC is having trouble getting traction in omnibus sales. Maybe everyone has Knightfall already. I mean, the Punisher omnibus is better, but still...Batman.

Not sure you can compare those based on the numbers of May alone as the Punisher Omnibus was out in early May already while Knightfall was published towards the very end, almost in June. That could even mean that Knightfall did extremely well.

EDIT: Just looked it up. Previews had it for May 30, so if I‘m not mistaken, it sold over 700 copies in two days, which looks great to me. (Pun MAX was out on May 2).

so, why would they not just name it "classic vol 2"? that's a bit perplexing. Didn't they recently do that with Cable or somebody as well? I guess they're wanting to distance themselves from the "Classic" line. Either way, insides are the insides, which is great. Nice to see Quasar continue.

Yeah 2 for Thor: God of Thunder and 2 Thor (Jane). No omni news so far

This is correct and if you really want the full story I would suggest the Original Sin OHC (although some didn't like it).

I somehow expected JMS's ASM or Slott's SSM collected in omnibus before the material covered in the Clone Saga Epics and Ben Reilly Epics. This volume seems to collect the first two chunky trades of the latter. It's a pass for me.

Yeah, after the Carnage Omni, the Venomnibus dreck (which I just ordered, smh) and the hodgepodge Spidey Vs Venom omni, I was hoping for a good omnibized sequential chunk of ol' AMS next.

Oh, well, At least we are likely to see more Spidey Omni goodness next year, thanks to the movie. Besides probably AMS 4, I mean. Surely they must be running out of lackluster webhead-related material, right?

Cue the 'Alex Saviuk Omni' announcement, lol.

I'm actually happy for the Ben Reilly Omnibus as this was in my Top 10 Omnibus wants for the recent survey but I labelled it as Clone Saga Vol. 3. This will nicely stand next to the Vol. 2 Clone Saga Omnibus. I didn't succumb to the Venomnibus fortunately
