I'm curious about X-Men 2099, I only read the first 10-12 issues even back in the 90s.
If it were at a steep discount I'd consider it but it is not a day/week of release buy for me.
I already have the Zomnibus first printing. Got it for $25 at HeroesCon waaay back when.
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
2 more coming next year. The second is from the top 50 poll. I think a lot of people will be ordering this.
100% there for the second one.
That first one is such a hodge podge of issues, I don't see how it could make for a very coherent read...
Add me to the chorus of people who don't "get" the first one, although I suppose it's the cleanest way to get Non-Stop/Savage in OHC format (if you have a goal of putting all the modern titles in OHC format, which I don't think we have a lot of evidence that Marvel actually cares about). Otherwise, it seems a mildly odd choice if you're sitting around thinking, "We need more 'Spiderman by [Creator]' books" just in the sense that there are definitely bigger name creators (both historically and in terms of page rate/clout/whatever) who have yet to get this treatment [Peter David, Michelinie/Bagley, JMD/Buscema, Slott (although one might imagine that's coming in a couple years based on the second announcement, but would it start at Big Time or would the first volume include his BND work, too?), just to name a few].

From the most wanted omnibus poll. This will come out 2 years after the last volume.
Excellent news!
I hope they take the anniversary nature of 2023 to announce some modern omnis of that property as well. But yes, very happy!
What I'm hoping for is that since its the 60th Anniversary of X-MEN, why not announced a reprint of Fatal Attractions Omnibus which back then was a 30th Anniversary event.
