Marvel putting the Peter David Hulk Epics on hiatus for years, printing the omnis, then returning to finish the Epics, but now out of order - is pretty crappy.
But at least theyre still coming. Just more waiting...

THRILLED that Marvel is finally releasing the second Epic Collection for Namor's Silver Age series. Can't believe it will be two years between his Epics, but at least he is getting another one, considering they only gave him one Essential. It does seem odd that they are skipping Volume 2, but going by their mission statement of trying to print issues that have not been collected before, it makes sense. Volume 2 was printed before in the Essential Subby book -- granted in black and white. These issues have NEVER been collected before, except in Marvel Masterworks. Which, upon reflection, and listening to the hosts lack of knowledge / familiarity with Namor's runs, is really sad. It also explains Namor's treatment by writers and fan's ignorance of the character.
Also happy to see a Mighty Marvel Masterwork of Namor, but disappointed that it doesn't have a Michael Cho cover. I hope he's providing the variant cover.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?
Two omnibus reprints coming next year. Both from the top 20 reprint poll.
Did IST stop updating on Tuesdays? This weeks new releases don't even show up on the site.
2 New Omnibus for 2023. Both for the same character.
