There is a whole omnibus-sized run of the solo series plus miniseries, Schism event, etc, to neatly fit between Volume 1 and WATXM - The contents of which is significantly better than the crap that WATXM quickly became! I fear you're right though, but hope not.

Default Marvel Collected Editions Estimated Sales for November 2016

The complete estimated comic book sales figures for November 2016 are in (please note this list only details those comics sold to North American Comics Shops as reported by Diamond). I’ve listed below the Marvel OHC/Omnibus/MMW’s as well as the larger TPB collections such as the Epic, Ultimate and Complete lines that made the list, detailing the position, title and estimated sales. I've highlighted those books that premiered this month.

    17. LCSD 2016 Doctor Strange Oath Exclusive OHC - 2,782
    22. Deadpool & Cable Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 - 2,482
    23. Captain America Winter Soldier Ultimate Collection - 2,450
    32. Astonishing X-Men Whedon Cassaday Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 - 2,138
    35. Deadly Hands of Kung Fu Omnibus Vol. 1 - 2,064
    46. Astonishing X-Men Whedon Cassaday Ultimate Collection Vol. 2 - 1,640
    55. Marvel Masterworks Black Panther HC Vol. 2 - 1,422
    59. War of Kings Omnibus - 1,396
    61. Marvel Masterworks Doctor Strange HC Vol. 7 - 1,382
    62. Captain Marvel By Jim Starlin Complete Collection - 1,379

    65. Amazing Spider-Man By JMS Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 - 1,356
    93. X-23 Complete Collection Vol. 2 - 1,164
    97. Star Wars Episode III OHC Revenge of Sith - 1,152
    108. Thor Epic Collection When Titans Clash - 1,101
    113. Avengers Epic Collection Once An Avenger - 1,053
    115. Star Wars Heroes For New Hope OHC - 1,042
    116. Sensational She-Hulk by John Byrne Return TPB - 1,032
    117. Young Avengers by Heinberg and Cheung Complete Collection - 1,019
    119. Ms. Marvel Omnibus Vol. 1 - 1,010
    139. Unbeatable Squirrel Girl OHC Vol. 1 - 894
    151. Marvels Doctor Strange Art of Movie Slipcase OHC - 848

    165. Shang-Chi Master of Kung Fu Omnibus Vol. 2 - 784
    184. Captain Britain Legacy of Legend TPB - 710
    194. Spider-Man Complete Clone Saga Epic Vol. 1 - 687
    200. Amazing Spider-Man By JMS Ultimate Collection Vol. 4 - 681
    203. Spider-Man Complete Ben Reilly Epic Vol. 1 - 674
    210. Mystique By Brian K Vaughan Ultimate Collection - 656
    223. Amazing Spider-Man By Jms Ultimate Collection Vol. 3 - 627
    230. Deadpool & Cable Ultimate Collection Vol. 3 - 612
    243. Amazing Spider-Man By JMS Ultimate Collection Vol. 2 - 565
    263. Spider-Man Complete Ben Reilly Epic Vol. 3 - 531
    271. Spider-Man Complete Ben Reilly Epic Vol. 2 - 518
    279. Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up Marvel Universe OHC - 510

A very healthy figure of 2,064 for the Deadly Hands of Kung Fu Omnibus Vol. 1. Also worth noting is that the Shang-Chi Master of Kung Fu Omnibus Vol. 2 has charted three months in a row giving it a cumulative figure of 2,152 since its release which is pretty impressive. There were several comments stating that interest in the Shang Chi Omnis was wearing off because of Vol. 2 moving less than 1000 copies in its premiere month, whereas a problem in shipping was the real reason behind the low figure. A lot of reentries for various Ultimate Collections most likely due to a clear out of stock.

For the sake of comparison, DC’s “Teen Titans The Silver Age Omnibus” and “The Flash By Manapul & Buccellato Omnibus” shifted 890 and 751 units, respectively.

Defenders is faring well in color collections for being outside what Marvel generally treats as the "major" Silver Age series (plus it's entirely covered in Essentials through #139). It's 62% collected just counting regular issues and not Giant Sized or Annuals. Here's my Defenders page, for more info.

    #1-41 in MMW

    #92-109 in Defenders Epic

    #122-131 in New Defenders Classic

    #47-50, 62-65, 76-77, 112-114, 150, 152 in various other TPBs

Is this a part of a larger storyline/ongoing or is it a mini-series?

it's a self contained mini from Brian K Vaughan and Marcos Martin and regarded as one of the best Strange stories and it's a great starting point with the character. Also the movie borrowed some scenes from it.

It was sold directly to stores as part of Local Comic Shop Day or something, so you won't find it at IST or any of those places. A local store or eBay are your best bets.

Thanks for the heads up. I've stayed away from eBay since they introduced the global shipping program. The shipping price is ridiculously high and there's no more combined shipping to help absorb the cost

I soooooo hope that we see a Defenders omni. Those MMW's taking us through 41 are the perfect size for it.....

    Where is Defenders 47-77 collected?

I really would like to have a color version of Defenders #1-50 or 60 or even 77.

Surely that is up for consideration in the Collections Dept, surely!

Then again, maybe not, one can never fully figure them out.

It's coming out after the Hit Monkey Omnibus but just before ASM 4.
