Question btw: Does anyone here have pictures of the Uncanny X-Men vol 1 OHC (the Bendis one). There's a lot of issues in that one and I actually enjoyed his run a lot.
I don't have any pictures, but I did buy the book. It is just a standard over sized hardcover. Very similar to Superior Spider-Man Vol 3 OHC in terms of size.

Any specific details you are looking for?

Just curious, what price did you get the Kelly Omnibus for? I've been looking at that recently and have strongly been considering it, but don't know if I want to pay the full price.

I have to disagree. Those issues had main stories and back up groot/rocket raccoon stories. "material from" here means just the main stories

The Rocket and Groot artist is listed in the solicits. It's more than likely in there.
    Cyclops was right

Was just curious about how thick the book is, I own the All New X-Men OHC and I imagine that the Uncanny one is considerably thicker, just wanted to see how thick!

    Why else put "material from"?

"Material from" is always used when they're not going to use the full contents of the issue as originally published. This most frequently occurs where there are multiple stories, whether a main + backup or Annuals which can have a handful of tales. It's a GOTG Omnibus. Annihilators' main cast is "The Silver Surfer! Beta Ray Bill! Gladiator! Quasar! Ronan!" The Annihilators Earthfall main cast is "Gladiator, Quasar, Ronan, Ikon and Beta Ray Bill - the all-new Annihilators." Those aren't the GOTG. Rocket and Groot are part of the DnA GOTG and these tales are by DnA in the period following their GOTG run. So the "material from" + the subject matter of the Omnibus + the particular artist credited = it's just the Groot and Rocket backup stories from both mini series. It makes sense.

If you liked the first one you'll like the second one just as much.

Someone posted a bunch of brand new copies on eBay, all with $50 BINs, during the CGN sale. I don't know if it was in any way related to the Marvel Clearance but it sure seemed like he a had a lot of copies.
