Would’ve liked a Generation X omnibus, but I’ll take whatever collection I can get. And if it turns into a surprise omnibus double dip years from now like Excalibur, so be it.

For me, Golden Age Cap Omni Vol 2 is one of the greatest Marvel trade solicits in some time. Preordered that so fast.

I really, really hope they try to collect all of Cap's Golden Age in Omni.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

In most cases (not all) the Epic Collection line has focused on material not readily available in other formats - or at least it started that way. If that holds true, you might wanna just grab the omni unless you want to wait an undetermined amount of time, as I'm sure Marvel would prefer to sell more $125 omnis than $40 trades.

Yeah this is my thinking as well; but my shelf will be mismatched!

Yeah but with Epic Collections, they'll be able to reach customers who for one reason or the other won't go for an omnibus. And since they already have the material restored, why not do the double dip?

Might be off-topic but does anyone have any tips for selling a few omnis? I have the Claremont Uncanny X-men but I never opened them as I read them online. I'm looking to shift them.

You could offer them here for trade and mention that you're open for another kind of offer. You can't sell them here actively. https://community.cbr.com/showthread...ng-post/page29

eBay. And beyond that, make sure you have/use plenty of sturdy packing material, because fanboys will not hesitate to decimate your feedback rating for a dinged corner!

Thanks! I would prefer to sell them in-person.
