Paperbacks. The first part of his run: Thor God of Thunder is also included in 2 Over-sized HCs. This is the pre-Jane Thor material.

There's also a Thor by Jason Aaron & Russel Dauterman OHC, collecting the 8 issue Thor series was released between God of Thunder and the current Mighty Thor series. There's a volume 2 out next month that collects Mighty Thor #1 to 12.

Do the two OHC include everything up to Jane? Where does Mighty Thor and Unworthy fit? It looks like there are 2 OHC for Goddess of Thunder!

Thor has been comprehensively collected since Aaron began writing the title, always as initial premiere hardcovers, then paperbacks, then (later) OHCs of two of the smaller volumes. This rhythm has kept up for Lady Thor. The only omission has been the Original Sins mini-series of Thor/Loki/Angela, which I continue to cross my fingers that we'll see in an omnibus.

Most of Aaron Thor was collected in Premier Hardcovers too.

    Original collections:

    Thor: God of Thunder
    vol. 1: The God Butcher
    vol. 2: The Godbomb
    vol. 3: The Accursed
vol. 4: The Last Days of Midgard

Original Sin: Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm (goes before the last issue of The Last Days of Midgard, not sure how relevant to the rest of the run it is)

    Thor
vol. 1: The Goddess of Thunder
vol. 2: Who Holds the Hammer?

    Thors (Secret Wars)

    The Mighty Thor:
vol. 1: Thunder in Her Veins
    vol. 2: Lords of Midgard
    vol. 3: The Asgard/Shi'ar War
    vol. 4: The War Thor

The Unworthy Thor (goes parallel to The Asgard/Shi'ar War I think)

The only ones not in PHCs are The Tenth Realm, Thors and The Unworthy Thor.

    OHCs:

    Thor: God of Thunder
vol. 1 (The God Butcher + The Godbomb)
vol. 2 (The Accursed + The Last Days of Midgard)

Thor by Jason Aaron & Russell Dauterman
vol. 1 (The Goddess of Thunder + Who Holds the Hammer?)
vol. 2 (Thunder in Her Veins + Lords of Midgard)

Does Thors in any way connect to The Unworthy Thor? Could those two make up an OHC, or do you think it's more likely The Unworthy Thor will be put in an upcomping Jane Foster OHC, or even not be collected in the OHCs at all?

Could just be a not at all deal....but people seem to think Aaron Thor is a dead cert for omni.

I'd agree, but Marvel put out those slim omni for some stuff, like Ms Marvel, and God of Thunder didnt get one for the movie, which I expected (to leave Jane as the omni).

Guessing Marvel releases is a fools game though. Anything could turn up

Minis haven't been included in Marvel's other OHCs, so chances are Unworthy won't be included in a future Thor OHC. It's possible it'll be combined in an OHC with Thors, or maybe even get one on its own (ala Aaron's Thanos mini), but it's just as likely neither will see the OHC format (until Aaron's run is Omnibused).

I haven't read Unworthy yet, but there is at least one connection between Thors and Unworthy. Something happens at the end of Thors that's followed up in Unworthy. That alone wouldn't make Thors required reading, but like I say, I haven't read Unworthy yet, so there may be other connections.

This should be released in omnibus format right away.

I do remember a quote from Aaron saying something about his grand visions for the Thor book(s) and how he wanted a bunch of omnibuses of these some day. So he's obviously on board.
But you never know, maybe they'll wait until his Thor tenure is up and THEN start repackaging them into omnibuses, OR maybe they won't go that way at all, since they're OHC'ing the main series as they go.

Marvel seems to be about 50/50 - for every book that has OHCs and then goes to Omnibus, like Waid's DD, or Bendis' GotG, etc..., there's other books that get the OHC treatment and never get an omni (I'm looking at you, Dan Slott Spider-Man, among others).

And personally, if it's in OHC, then I'm good with that. Perfect size to read, still oversized, portable, etc... vs. omnibus, but I know for many of you, omnibus is the ultimate format and you want everything in that format. ;-)
"Boomerang arrow, Kate... It comes back to you in the end. Boomerang. Respect it." - Clint
"Why the hell do you need an arrow that comes back to you after you shoot it, Clint?" - Kate
    "Because... Boomerangs." - Clint.

Aaron is one of those writers at Marvel who seem to get a disproportionately large number of Omnis based on work output. And the Thor series is actually worth one.
