No, I'm talking about the '63 'The X-Men' Omnibus. Unless I missed something?

That is so ridiculously hard to get so I opted for X-Men Epic 1 and Masterworks 3 tpb.

IMO you can easily skip the first two X-Men Omni's and just start with UXM. The X-Men stuff is your typical Silver Age fair and is summed up several times throughout UXM.

On another note are a lot of people planning on picking up the Spidey BND Complete's because they are going to better than the previous BND collections or just because they've never read it before? Has it been collected in OHC before?

As someone who loves the Stan Lee/Jack Kirby X-Men run. You can VERY easily skip it to read the Claremont run. As long as you know the very basics of the first X-team, your good.

Yeah, I'm aware of this. Its just my personal preference to read from the very beginning.

Non-Marvel, my favorite find was a complete set of the Flying Buttress Wash Tubbs & Captain Easy volumes. This is one of those rare newspaper strips that seemed fully formed right out the gate but only got better as it went along, so it's a shame Fantagraphics chose to reprint it in best-of compilations following their wonderful Sundays collections.

My best find would have to be Fantastic Four vol 1 by hickman. Not only do I absolutely love the run, but have seen the book go for 250$ which is almost triple what I payed. I got one of the last copies out of 10 or so amazon had and it came in perfect condition which Is a surprise comming from amazon. Happy I got it when I did.

I think my favourite finds would have to be Iron Man by Stan Lee and X-Men by Stan Lee. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Another collector was unloading his spare omnis at a LCS of mine. I got them for $200 Canadian each and they are sealed too!

I had a pretty good year with Omni's, my issue is I have this thing I do where I "save" some of the most critically acclaimed runs for later. Almost like I'm trying to save the best for last or something, and now my backlog is ridiculous because I can't bring myself to read Astonishing xmen omni I bought 5 years ago for fear I might read something after that doesn't live up to it. I honestly cant tell what I bought this year unless it was a 2015 release, they all just blend into my backlog.
