They censored the comics / trades? What sort of thing did they cut out?

Even though it doesn't present the complete Hobgoblin saga, it does have a feeling of closure at the end. As if it was an ending but leaving some things open for possible futures, the way serial comics often do.

I don't have or expect kids but a good book is a good book and I have even been known to read children's novels on occasion. Plus I always appreciate great art and I like what I've seen. If my LCS has it on sale I will probably get it.

Along with the issues ASM #1-6, #1.1-1.5, & ASM Annual #1, as well as some cool sketches and Alternate Cover Gallery. Ultimately it's worth picking up since Slott's run seems to be building up to be one of the all-time greatest ASM runs ever.

    Miracleman

I have no interest in anything other than the Alan Moore issues so if the Omnibus has any issues from before or after or it's edited or the small Omni runs $150 I'm gonna save a bunch of money. Knowing Marvel I'm gonna save a bunch of money.

Yeah, these are my sentiments as well. My daughter was 6/7 when we read it last year. She liked it a lot.
I was reading it a few years ago in floppies, and glad to have it again in this format.

Are any of the older Miracleman collections uncensored, or only the floppies?

The current Marvel floppies and hardcovers only have the "n word" censored. Everything else is as it appeared originally.

So has no one at Marvel read Huck Finn or something? As long as its not said on a positive way, its fine. Hell, Huck Finn didn't even do that.
    Cyclops was right

Marvel at least early on when it was republishing the Moore run had two versions - one that included the brief nudity and one that didn't.
