i think it would be better to collect the whole crossover in a x-men epic. so people that only collect x-men epic's and aren't interested in the x-force epics get the whole story.

What about those who are buying both the X-Force and X-Men Epic Collection lines?

Now they have to double dip an entire $40 book, or have a hole in one of their collections!

I get all the X-Epics. It would be annoying, but I would be glad that I get them at a discount.

New Gallery Edition announced. The video also has the covers and mapping of the recently announced omnis.

I have to say, I’m disappointed in the Doom omnibus. Instead of chronological order, or focusing on his solo appearances, it’s a greatest hits volume. Some of the choices are odd. Why include Amazing Spider-Man Annual #14 but omit Fantastic Four Annual #2?

I probably will pick up the Fraction Thor Omnibus due to the inclusion of the the Fear Itself event. This will be the first time it's been oversized. I wonder if we'll see The Fearless (which was better than Fear Itself) in some kind of oversized format?

Does anyone know if ToW preorders for Marvel will be cancelled due to the distributor change?

Looks like Marvel pulled a DC. Here's the spine of the FF Vol. 2 reprint.

Well, they either did a DC number and decided to give us a different design for who knows what reason or they messed up and someone got the wrong font instructions. If the latter, that would therefore indicate that Defenders Vol. 2 may end up having a "normal" spine. Weird as it may seem, I would rather Defenders Vol. 2 getting the erroneous small font to match Vol. 1.

How much of this is swallowed up by tie-ins? I love that first Thor run, but haven't read past it yet.

I am remembering correctly, none at all.

Aaron's Thor is quite spectacular simply because it was not pulled into any crossovers.

However, Thors is a mini that takes place during Secret Wars but it is pretty self explanatory

Yup I'd also highly, highly recommend this run. I've read and liked the Simonson, Jurgens, and JMS runs. But this is my favorite!

Thoughts on the Michilinie/Mcfarlane Spidey omni?

The art is fine and I understand the Venom intro stuff (saw it on the 90s animated show too haha), so beyond the nostalgia and novelty of first appearances and the artwork, how is the actual writing? I'm sure it's of its time. But I can look past that if its written well (i.e PAD Hulk)
