Link? Amazon and IST don't have it at 65%.

I suspect that was more of a prediction for the near-future. IST has recently been heavily discounting some recent omnis (Ka-Zar, Jurgens Cap, Who’s Who, etc), and, well, not many people are going to buy Heroes Reborn.

Some will say it is a Miracle this is finally coming out. Some actually Marvel at why it has taken so long for this collection since acquiring the rights.

Me, I say MEH to Shazam ripoff with adult flare.

    Another saving for me.

Does anyone know why that new Wolverine book is so damn expensive compared to other OHCs?

Any idea why it’s missing 2,4 and 5?

Those issues just reprint material from the Warrior issues. 1 and 3 have some original material and 6-16 picks up the story where Warrior ended.

Because Marvel's greedy, and X-fans will pay whatever they're asked to for anything...?

But yeah, at 10 issues and 288 pages, that book should be $49.99 tops.

A book like X Lives and Deaths of Wolverine would have run a Canadian around $35 back in 2012 (back when the Can/US dollar were on par).

Almost ten years later and now we're looking at a price of $92 on Amazon. I know people have to get paid but that kind of inflation is ridiculous. I wonder if Marvel if simply trying to capitalize on "boom" times for their product.

Further, plunking down $185+ for a 1600 page book (AvX Omni) that will, ultimately, cave in on itself is absolutely ridiculous.

I also wonder if we'll reach a stage where Marvel reaches some kind of "omni saturation" point. Would we see lower prices then?

I don't think we'd see lower prices, just fewer offerings with the same (or slightly higher) ridiculous price tags...
