A mutant-branded omnibus (with the largest page count yet, no less) for only $100 cover?

Yeah, I saw this too and thought it must be a mistake. I'm sure the price will increase to $125. The same thing happened with the UXM Vol. 3 Omnibus. Originally solicited at $100 and then increased to $125.

It is currently listed on Amazon at $125, so it certainly seems to be going that way.

A book with words and no pictures - i.e. a "regular" book. But it's about superheroes so it gets put in the comic solicits.
"Boomerang arrow, Kate... It comes back to you in the end. Boomerang. Respect it." - Clint
"Why the hell do you need an arrow that comes back to you after you shoot it, Clint?" - Kate
    "Because... Boomerangs." - Clint.

Basically a normal book, just a novelization of the comic story, without the art.

It's frustrating that they are labeling the Lemire Hawkeye OHC as "vol 3" for those who bought the Fraction omnibus.

So I made a list of the Marvel Cosmic tpb's. Red is what is not collected in omnibus format (for now). Am I missing something?

Nova vol. 4: Nova Corps (19-22)
    Secret Invasion: Inhumans (#1-4)
    X-Men: Deadly Genesis (#1-6)

    War of Kings Omnibus:
Uncanny X-Men: Rise and fall of the Shi'ar Empire (475-486)
    Emperor Vulcan (#1-5)
Road to War of Kings: X-Men Kingbreaker (#1-4)
Nova vol. 5: War of Kings (23-28)

Thanks for the answers. And yes that sounds like blasphemy. Even if its written amazingly it still dosnt have the art which is what makes comics different from any other book.

Maybe Silent War as well as the main Annhilators stories? Is Silent War somewhere recently?

The red could make a nice X-Men/Inhumans: War of Kings Companion, maybe?
The Wicked + The Divine. TMNT. Uncanny Avengers. Midnighter. IXth Generation. Daredevil. Morning Glories. Street Fighter. Fables. Uncanny X-Men. Bloodshot. Invincible. Ninjak. Mockingbird.

The War of Kings Omnibus is potentially "missing" a lot of different things. As Eddy82 pointed out, they don't go back to Deadly Genesis and Silent War and Son of M are absent as well. But all of those were never collected previously as part of the Road to War of Kings or any of the other War of Kings trades. The examples I gave are directly from the Road to War of Kings TPB. Secret Invasion: Inhumans is it's own TPB (as are Silent War and Son of M) and it's probably not in this because as the title suggests, it's more part of the Secret Invasion event than War of Kings even if the events are relevant to War of Kings.

But now that the official solicit is out, we can see that "The Hole" is included in the Omnibus, so it's really just that one Saga recap issue that's missing. It's obviously not a big deal at all, but it just seems sort of silly Marvel couldn't be bothered to include it since it touches on stories that aren't in the Omnibus.

Marvel probably could have milked this situation with something like a Deadly Genesis/Rise and Fall/Emperor Vulcan/Secret Invasion Inhumans/Son of M/Silent War book. Just call it the War of Kings Companion Omnibus. Charge $100 for that, charge $125 for the War of Kings Omnibus proper without the Rise and Fall/Emperor Vulcan stories, make lots of cash. Maybe Marvel is allergic to money though.

That's not entirely accurate. The main stories of Annihilators and Annihilators: Earthfall are not in the GOTG Omnibus. Just the Rocket & Groot backups. Plus it's missing Son of M and Silent War, which might as well be included if you're going to also include Secret Invasion Inhumans and Deadly Genesis.
