Just finished FF Fraction Omnibus. Damn, i thought the was fun! For some reason i have never heard anyone talk about it. I liked how the Fantastic Four book was completely different to the FF. But they worked off each other really well.

I liked what he did with the FF, but the F4 was garbage and that is why it is not spoken of. Especially coming off of Hickman's run.

Co-signed. FF was sheer brilliance, F4 was a slog. Maybe the F4 book read better interspersed with the other one? How did the omni order the material, mrjohnnykid?

Double Co-signed. I slogged through F4 like you but really, really dug the originality and humor of FF.

Yep. Fraction's was cool and while I normally like Robinson's writing, this was not his best work. I didn't like the Thing going to prison. And the whole "we're going to take your children from you because you live a dangerous life" has been done before. We KNOW they're safer with Reed and Sue, not the government.

I did like the classic nod that Robinson gave Byrne though when he had Franklin say "You hurt my mommy! Go away!". That was from Byrne's run when Franklin destroyed Mephisto after saying the same thing.

gah! AXM and both Bendis and Brubaker DD-s as well. Also all the Brubaker Caps. I have the ultimae collections from DD and Cap but I would upgrade.

I'd consider picking up The Eternals, although at less than 400 pages it would have to be pretty cheap! Also, maybe I'd pick up Acts of Vengeance just to have a complete set of Marvel Event oversized books, although I talked myself out of it many times while it was still cheap!

- Devil Dinosaur by Jack Kirby
- The Eternals Omnibus
- Thor Omnibus vol. 1

the last 3 because of Kirby !
I doubt the 1st Thor stories stand the test of time but it's kirby...

I also mostly have the ones I want as well, but if they reprinted Bendis DD v1, Bru DD v1, Death of Cap, Ennis Punisher, and Silver Surfer, I wouldn't complain.
