I'd love for a G1 Transformers Omni set, 3 volumes should get the main title + minis.
IDW has the license though so not likely. I've wanted IDW to reprint them like they've been doing on the GI Joe Marvel run. *sigh*

Anybody got a line on when the next Hachette catalog will go live? I like flipping thru the PDF to see what's coming up.

Not much in the new catalog we didn't already know about. Normally I'd get the Waid Captain America omni, but it will probably end up sitting on my wish list for a while now with the insane number of other Marvel and DC omnis coming out this year. I'll probably pick up the first volume of Aaron's Doctor Strange OHC.

    Shang-Chi: Master of Kung-Fu Omnibus Vol. 4
Spider-Man: Clone Saga Omnibus Vol. 2

My problem with it was that the character was the Punisher, and Marvel has spent way more than a decade now - probably starting back with Ennis - getting the character more grounded and making him less bullet-proof than, say, the silliness of the 90s.

If this was the guy from Fear Agent or any other independent character created by Remender (someone from Black Science for example), then I think I would have liked it more.

Again, I go back to Frankencastle. SMH.

Are you kidding me... i read the frist trade of Ennis Max after all the hype and i wouldn't call it graunded at all... lol he took the entire mob in one night on his own with a mini gun... lol That one mob guy got stabed with fences and shot from face and kept coming... i mean those were ridiculous but in a good way if you like ridiculous stuff like me. so the Remender run looks so perfect to me right now, as far as what i heard in this thread.

That classic X-Men Omni is sweet. Thought it feels like they're just stalling while the finish the restorations for Uncanny Vol 4.

Wow ... some goodies in there. I finally made it home & was able to download the PDF to skim. My first thoughts:

Anyone else notice Scarlet Spider in his classic costume for the new series? Wonder if the internet outrage and bashing convinced Marvel to change their mind about the other costume with hoodie and see-through mouth. That was a grade-A, bonafide, goofy design by Bagely & he looks much better in the classic costume. Hope it sticks for the new series.

X-Men Epics have now confirmed to collect both series concurrently. The new catalog's listing for X-Men Mutant Genesis Epic Collection contains issues from UXM, X-Men (1991), and X-Factor plus various Annuals.

    Damn I missed that.

I'll wait for an omnibus for it since Aaron is wrapping up on that book.

I was wondering that as well. Seems like a small omnibus if so they were what like 8 pages?
