    Happy Holidays everyone!

This post is directed at Omnibus or Cannucked or NZ_Inferno or anyone who does myself and the rest of the forum the courtesy of updating the first page with upcoming Omnibus releases. There have been a slew of releases over the past few months and I’ve sadly fallen behind with my purchases. Wondering if there are any plans to update the original post? I don’t post much, but I absolutely reference this thread often and view it as a valuable resource in planning my purchases and for that I am thankful.

Wishing all of the Omnibus maniacs a happy & healthy 2018! Cheers!

Hi all, hope you had a great festive season and are ready to welcome 2018 in tonight!

Looking for some 2018 reading and I am halfway through Civil War II. I was thinking of going back and reading the Inhuman material between Inhumanity and IvX.
Any thoughts on the 3x Inhumans OHCs?

I imagine now that the MCU has the FF and X-Men back the Inhuman Experiment is going to fizzle out.

My meagre end of year Marvel haul:

The Cap Epic Collection was purchased as a damaged copy from IST. I found absolutely nothing wrong with it bar a very small crease on the back cover which was hardly visible. I much preferred the Mack Shang-Chi cover to the Variant cover.

I doubt that, it has a fanbase in the comics so it'll probably just stick to it's current format of one royal book, one nuhuman book and a handful of solos.

I could see it dropping to one title depending on sales but as long as there's a TV show, I suspect they'll be a comic.

Thoughts on the upcoming Deadpool and Co omnibus? I liked the Duggan/Poessen run and the Kelly stuff. Not really into the Bunn stuff.

How did they get the movie rights back?

    Disney simply bought Fox.

I can't see any reason why there would be more than one solo, if any at all. Even though the Black Bolt ongoing has been critically well received, the sales have been quite low. Ditto with the Royals. I suspect also that they will eventually be diminished to only one title overall until there is a resurgence in their popularity for some reason. The TV show has received extremely bad reviews. I saw the first 2 episodes in IMAX and I understand why. They would have to have a very good excuse to go ahead with a second season.

Happy 2018 everybody! May all your White Whales appear!

Just remember, when all hope seems lost: we are getting a Brute Force collection in 2018. Anything is possible!

Do you think collections like Brute Force are an elaborate inside joke by the Marvel Collections Dept?
I imagine them sitting around the table at semi-annual meetings, talking seriously about upcoming A/B/C list character media tie-ins, and each Dept head tossing in a random collection idea tied to nothing.
Some mechanism is in place (eg losing a bet on something) that then causes something like this to actually see print.
