I finally read Vision. I thought it was excellent. I really enjoyed it. My only complaint is that it felt short at the end. The ending was just "pretty good". I don't want to go into specifics for anyone who hasn't read it. I enjoyed it much more than his Omega Men which sort of bored me. I need to give that another try. Sometimes mood affects the reading experience for me.

As I am not used to follow the sales figures for TPBs could some one give me an educated guess if the Cable X-Force Number of 530 is still okish for the current market or might be considered a total failure?

I am really worried that they will abandon the X-Force Epic line or further split collections as we have not yet seen another solicitation (here is hoping for the next catalog soon).

Anyways, I really really like the first X-Force Volume a lot and so many issues remain uncollected. The movie might help as we can now see with all the Cable trades that came out in the last months and continue further on.

The Omnibus is OOP and going at crazy prices so not the best option right now. What Sandbagger77 wrote.

Yes. It's an excellent run. However, I would recommend not beginning it till you have the second omnibus and Secret Wars. I find that Hickman benefits from reading the entire story start to finish with no breaks.

Also, Secret Wars isn't just then end of his Avengers run. It's the culmination of basically everything he wrote for Marvel. So his work on Fantastic Four (unfortunately OOP and pricey) and Ultimates (not OHC) isn't necessary, but would add to it.
