Are they ever gonna do those reprints, now that Bendis moved on to DC? Why else would they reprint the Brubaker omni's first?

Kinda weird that they're releasing a TPB containing both Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix series contemporaneously with this OHC that contains the first Adventure. I don't really think the Further Adventures is worth it to double dip . . .

I kind of doubt that this will be $75 as the Yellow Blue Gray OHC (without White) was priced at $75. This Omnibus will probably be $100. Marvel have far too often overpriced their "slim" Omnibuses. DC seem to be much more reasonable. For example the Super Sons Omnibus will be retailed at $50.

I'm a little surprised at this YBGW Omnibus as the material has been collected several times and the OHC premiered with a lacklustre figure of around 700 or so. I'm wondering whether this will even make the charts.

Reprinting the Bendis Daredevil Omnis is money in Marvel's pockets. It's a certain. The Miller and Brubaker reprints back this up, as well as the fact that Bendis's run is a big fan favourite and a lot of people missed out on the original Bendis DD Omnis.

So I decided to start on the Masterworks train and am waiting on some Avengers(70s)/Captain America(Englehart)/Doctor Strange(Stern) volumes. At first I wasn't going to even look at masterworks as I thought it might be annoying to start collecting when I had missed loads of previous volumes but now I am thinking of them like Epics to fill in gaps (along with Omnibus') for particular runs I want if they are available.

Definitely getting Gambit: The Complete Collection Volume 2. The first volume came out in early 2016. When there wasn't a second volume solicited that year, I feared it would be orphaned. Glad to see the second and final volume for this series.
Silver Surfer by Slott and Allred is also a buy. This will be a great done in one collection to have.

I'm frustrated with the MU by Byrne Volume 2. It's another grab bag, but it is also the first time the Lost Generation mini series has ever been collected. I would totally buy that series collection by itself, but I don't want to get an omnibus for regular price if I only want a handful of issues in it.

Will definitely be picking up the Slott/Allred Silver Surfer omni, and probably Claremont's X-Men: Reload.

Guessing the X-Factor Epic collection will be PAD's first run (#71-?). If so I can finally upgrade my Visionaries volumes.

With the Fabian Nicieza credit, it will probably collect the last X-Factor storyline before PAD along with it.

Some nice finds, especially the (almost?) orphaned X-Men Gambit Collection 2 is good news.

I hoped for a smaller Omnibus for Pads first X-Factor run, but I will also upgrade my Visionary trades.

Not sure, if it is worth upgrading the old Claremont Reload era trades though.

So what is missing: finally another X-Factor Epic which gives me hope for the next X-Force Volume ...

Will we see the Hachette catalog soonish, now that we are deep in December with the leaks?

Silver Surfer is an instant buy! I guess I’m getting the Byrne omnibus because of Iron Fist but I wish they would have just collected his Bronze Age stuff separately.
