So the X-Factor Epic has the first three of the four PADs Visionaries trades and stops at X-Cutioners Song. I will upgrade.

Claremont's New Age chunky trade collects the first tree trades from the run and stops at HoM. I am not yet convinced to upgrade here ...

Why the "upgrade" or why do they stop there and do not include the reamining three issues (minus the crossover) of the run?

The upgrade is personal, I really like the X epics a lot and my four Visionary trades were not in best shape when I bought them way back and now have been read pretty often. I would almost go as far as saying that even here there might be a consensus that it is an overall highly regarded run. But I doubt that we will see an OHC of these issues soon.

As far as the content goes: I need to check again but I am pretty certain we have the remaining issues in the event OHC and the Fatal Attraction OHC (minus an Annual, maybe?). So it kinda makes sense plus the next Volume could close the never before collected gap until Phalanx / AoA prelude.
