Before I venture into the Spider-man forum, I thought I'd ask this here first. Is this the best order to read these books in without having to switch between them as I go?
1. ASM Michelinie/McFarlane omnibus
2. Tombstone vol 1 TPB
3. Spider-man by McFarlane omnibus
4. ASM Michelinie/Larsen omnibus
Thanks
Pull List: Daredevil, Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, No One, Time Before Time
“We never lose our demons. We only learn to live above them"
1. ASM Michelinie/McFarlane is first.
2. ASM Michelinie/Larsen comes right after the M/M omnibus
3. Tombstone stories were published concurrently with the ASM M/M omnibus, but can be read independently of the ASM omnibi
2. Spider-Man by McFarlane stories were published concurrently with the ASM M/L omnibus, but has no story crossovers and can be read independently.
Can anyone please tell if Avengers Omnibus Vol.4 and Savage Sword of Conan Omnibus Vol.1 was out this week? I’m probably one of the few here that still likes to pick it in comic shops rather than order it online but I thought both of them would be out this week? It strange because I saw Infinity War Omnibus was in the shops today even though I didn’t think that was released until next week but no sign of the two I was looking for.
Do people who pre-order it online get it earlier than the specialist comic shops or are the release shipping dates the Same? Thanks.
General release for both titles was April 2nd. However many online retailers plus comic shops get them 2 weeks earlier. So your LCS likely sold out of their initial stock.
I know omnibuses don't sell very well at my LCS, so they usually only order 1 or 2 copies if any at all.
They would have Infinity War as that just came out yesterday (2 weeks before the general release date of April 16th).
Any opinions on Dan Slott's Mighty Avengers?
The Complete Collection is due out soon and I was thinking about picking it up to follow Bendis' Complete Collection.
You could be right about the shops selling out their initial stock. Let’s hope they restock or I might have to try online. Not got anything against buying online but I guess I’m just a bit set in my ways and I do look forward to my weekly shop visits to do a bit of buying and plenty of browsing.
Thanks again.
I wrote a program that automatically sends emails when new Marvel titles are added on the hachette site. If you'd like to be added to the mailing list, just send an email to marvelcollectionsnews@gmail.com letting me know.
I have a question about the Miles Morales Omnibus. It's listed under "Stock Running Low" on the recent list (thanks for that btw, TurtleDog) but as far as I can tell it's only available on the secondhand market. What's the threshold that a book needs to cross to be considered "out of print"?
