Although I don't like the premise behind the series and I'm not interested in the return of the pre-Flashpoint Superman, I liked the first issue. It isn't anything special just a set up story, but it's well written and drawn.
It will be interesting to see how things will evolve and who will prove to be more boring: Chris, Jason or Jon?

Henshaw is probably the best Superman villain of the nineties. Evil, insane and nihilistic Reed Richards with technopathic powers, immortality AND the might of Superman. He's a huge, huge threat. So big he could fight the Green Lanterns Corps. He's definitively one of the Big Bads of the DC Universe and deserves a place.
Bring him back and twist him different this time! Change his agenda, maybe have his crew survive but end up as twisted parodies of the Fantastic Four. Have him be less crazy and insane, with a more ambiguous morality! Same villain, new extras!
