I try to watch what I spend but when IST dropped the Kirby Monsterbus I ended up going over budget. I got the Teen Titans book, Jeff Smith's SHAZAM, Wicked and Divine Vol. 2, and EC Comics Reed Crandall book.

I skipped the Journey Into Mystery Omnibus but that one has my interest! And Narcos has been great!

Read through the first 4 issues or so of King's Batman and have enjoyed it quite a bit, more so than Snyder's start I believe. Hopefully the rest holds up.

how did you read it? I can't recall of the new deluxe HC is out yet. And that was edited to remove some of the "excessive repetition".

Yeah the deluxe. I haven't really noticed any excess repetition. I wasn't aware that any changes were made to the original. That's cool if so, King listening to criticism and cleaning it up a bit.

I just got the Batman Deluxe yesterday. I'm impressed how good the books are quality wise. Feels really solid. Haven't had a chance to start reading it.

Judging by the cover it looks like the Suicide Squad crossover issue will be included seeing how they are on the cover (IIRC the Squad issue wasn't included in the solicit?)

Flicking around some previews on Amazon, and cam across Aparo's Batman Vol. 3. Art looks terrific. Can I start from Vol. 3, or am I missing something good? They're kind of expensive, especially with Vol. 1 apparently being out of print.

Someone asked him (King) on Twitter too. He said something like he didnt think it was needed, but it was no biggie.
