That sounds like the "Ignition" arc after Zoom caused Linda to have a miscarriage and the Spectre wiped Wally's identity from everyone including Wally himself. Wally got a job as a police mechanic as it was the only job he could get. There's some good moments of him and Captain Cold hanging out without either knowing the others identity

Post-Flash Rebirth Wally didnt really get to do anything in the comics, there was talks of him and his family getting a spin-off comic and Barry headlining the main Flash title but then Flashpoint occurred derailing those plans

Gotcha. I keep forgetting there was an original Flash Rebirth.

I'll reread it once I finish Johns main Flash run. I remember I thought it was a good starting point for the Flash. I wae totally wrong.

So the Superman Oz Effect Deluxe edition that comes out tomorrow is just issues of Action Comics...that will later be in the 3rd Action Comics deluxe edition, no?

According to amazon description, yes. I am already planning on getting action comics 3 so this is pointless to me. The only point of it appears to be selling it to people who either want to read it now (action comics 3 is a ways out) or who don't want to read anymore action comics.

Agreed, TBH it lost me the minute it had Jay Garrick say (in his first line no less) "Barry Allen made me the Flash"

I know the school of thought is: Support the TPBs or there can never be a HC
However, I'm backed up on other reads BUT would be curious if this short series found it's way to a larger collected edition(with a vol.2 of contents) a few years later.

With the DC Rebirth, The Button, Oz Effect & Watchmen all out in DLX format, if that's any good, do you expect Doomsday Clock to be DLX?

I just don't want to commit to reading the whole arc and be stuck with one odd book on the shelf.
I would bet my entire collection that there will be at least an OHC for Doomsday Clock.

Damn, lots of comics I want to order. Heres my second shot at this mammoth...hmm the great debate continues.
