Well, thanks in advance to whoever answers!
I don't have the Lucifer books, but I do have all the HB. They are somewhat cheap in stock. Now, that said, I encourage you to get them because all the stories are amazing and they're finally all being collected in chronological order. I never thought I'd see the day some of that Jenkins stuff got collected! Great stuff. Plus, they cram in a ton of issues for a pretty decent price.

Thanks Tom and awayne! Since it looks pretty difficult that the series is collected in HCs, I guess I'll start buying these books. I just wanted to know a little more about the quality, since I was very impressed by the Lucifer books, which had amazing trade dressing and a really good paperstock for a TPB. I just couldn't find of pictures about these new HB trades anywhere on the net, but they look pretty cool and the price is amazing.

The paperstock is like the one in Transmetropolitan and Scalped trades.

going through a Grant Morrison reading frenzy . Just got through my Absolute All Star Superman and forgot how fantastic the story-art was when I read it years ago in paperback. I am not really a superman fan but to me this is a must own story and its a beautiful book in Absolute format. Unfortunately, there are some pretty glaring manufacturing defects in my copy (a few panels with smeared ink, and 4 panels in chapter 2 where it looks like the ink did not set at all leaving white circles in the panels). Looks like its completely sold out everywhere so I dont want to risk return and waiting for a replacement. Too bad this stuff gets through QA for an expensive absolute.

Anyways, today my copies of Absolute Batman Incorporated and Animal man Omnibus arrive, very excited and hopefully defect free .

Sorry if this has been discussed before (and then I missed it). If the Neal Adams Batman Omnibus has suddenly more than 1'000 pages (was it 1072?) does it mean that they will collect the stories missing in the HC in order to have a better reading experience? I'm not too familiar with the topic but i think I can remember a discussion about the Neal Adams Omni being incomplete storywise.
Reading: Batman by Morrison, Death note, Inhumans, Sleeper
The plural of Omnibus is Omniboo

Yes, I'm interested to know this too, having never read any of this material.

Well, these are supposed to be the contents of the book:

    This hardcover omnibus collects: Material from Batman #200, 203 and 210; The Brave and the Bold #75-76 and 79-85; Detective Comics #370, 372, 385, 389, 391, and 392; and World’s Finest Comics #174-176, 178-180, 182-183, 185, and 186. Batman #217, 220-222, 224-227, 229-231, The Brave and the Bold #86, 88-90, 93, 95, Detective Comics #394-403, 405-311, World’s Finest #199, 200, 202. Batman #232, 234-241, 243-246, 251, 255; Batman Annual #14; Batman Black & White #4; The Brave and the Bold #99, Detective Comics #412-422, 439, 600; Heroes Against Hunger; Limited Collectors Edition C-25, C-51, C-59; Robin #1; Saga of Ra’s Al Ghul #4; World’s Finest #211, 244-246, 258. Batman : Odyssey Vol. 1 issues #1-6 and Vol. 2 issues #1-7.

It looks like there are going to be a few gaps here and there.

How good is JLA Classified? It's so annoying that it's not collected in JLA vol. 4 TPB but is in the deluxe edition.

Assuming you mean the 3 issue Morrison arc, I've never cared for it. If I recall, it did introduce the Knight and Squire characters, so there's that...

    Wasn't that the original solicitation?

What's interesting to note is that not only has it gone from 640 to 1,072 pages (and the price increased from $75.00 to $99.99), but the title has changed twice, from Neal Adams Omnibus to Batman Illustrated by Neal Adams Omnibus to the present Batman by Neal Adams Omnibus. It is not solely a Neal Adams Omnibus anymore or an "Illustrated" Omnibus but a Batman (first and foremost) by Neal Adams Omnibus.

The listing which John posted is I believe from amazon. This also shows an increase in issues content.

However, the official solicits now only write this:
"At last, Neal Adams’ entire run on Batman is collected in one massive volume, with stories from the pages of BATMAN, THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, DETECTIVE COMICS, WORLD’S FINEST, BATMAN: ODYSSEY, BATMAN: BLACK AND WHITE, and innumerable covers!"

Also, the release date has been pushed back from late 2015 to February 2016.

I could be wrong but it looks like that DC are still testing the waters on this one.

Therefore, I'm quietly hoping that someone from DC is reading this and hearing what the fans and collectors are saying and they will give us an Omnibus without any jarring gaps which will provide for a fantastic reading experience

I quite like it and find it underrated. McGuiness and Morrison made for a great team I'd have liked to have seen more from. If you liked the 3 issue JLA arc the Ultramarine Corps debuted in, I'd recommend it. As mentioned, we get some good Knight and Squire action. Plus anything involving Qwerq is a must for me. The trade should be easy to find for cheap.
