I sold my TPBs from The Unwritten some years ago and I deeply regret it - it's just impossible to find the books again here for a good price. The story is really good and the art is amazing! The crossover with Fables maybe is better than lots of actual Fables stories from the second half of the series.

Really looking forward to this! Only thing that would have made it even better would be if they had also included the animated Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #1-6 as well

So I guess the Deluxe editions during Rebirth were a full blown fluke. I'm at a crossroads as a collector- I want to buy omnis and fill the gaps with trades/small hardcovers as needed, but I really don't like reading omnis and its a crapshoot if I can find trades (looking at you, Superman/Batman) gahh.

For those wondering about the duplicated/missing page from Detective Comics annual #4 in Batman: The Dark Knight Detective volume 7, DC has apparently said they won’t be recalling and correcting volume 7, but rather will reprint the annual in its entirety (corrected, one hopes ) in DKD volume 8. (Which also seems to confirm they plan on releasing a volume 8, since it hasn’t been solicited yet — that would be the final volume, taking us up to where the Knightfall omnis/newer trades begin.)

One of the very rare times where I'm not so upset about an error, since Tec Annual #4 was part of the Armageddon 2001 crossover event, which I find forgettable and expendable. If the error was in like any other issues in the trade, I would be apoplectic right now. Good that they are seeming to commit to Vol 8 though.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
