I can only hope we'll see that Grant Morrison GL Omnibus next year.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

I will hope along with you, and make the appropriate sacrifices.

Think we will ever get a bronze age flash omnibus to continue where the silver age omnibus left off?

Hal Jordan has broken bad. In his grief and fury, he has decimated the once-mighty Green Lantern Corps. But hope still survives when the last Guardian, Ganthet, bestows the sole remaining power ring upon an artist named Kyle Rayner. Possessing an imagination and will unlike any previous Lantern, Rayner becomes Earth’s new Green Lantern! This compendium charts the rise of the Corps’ latest and greatest member as he strives to maintain order in a galaxy without Guardians.

    Collects GREEN LANTERN (1990) #0, #48-65; R.E.B.E.L.S. ’94 #1; NEW TITANS #116-117, #124-125; GUY GARDNER: WARRIOR #27-28; DARKSTARS #34; and DAMAGE #16.

Essentially its a repackage of the two original Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner TPB's from a few years back - but any future compendiums will be never before collected material

New video by Omar of the new solicits

    And the link here to

    https://www.comicreleases.com/2023/0...solicitations/

BATMAN ETERNAL omnibus is getting a reprint

GREEN LANTERN: KYLE RAYNER RISING COMPENDIUM TPB

BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT DETECTIVE VOL. 8 TPB finally has a corrected solicit - Collects DETECTIVE COMICS #644-653 and DETECTIVE COMICS ANNUAL #5, plus a corrected printing of DETECTIVE COMICS ANNUAL #4.

GREEN LANTERN: THE SILVER AGE OMNIBUS VOL. 1 OHC (2023 EDITION) - like Batman: Golden Age omnibus 1 a new reprint of an OOP omnibus

YOUNG JUSTICE OMNIBUS VOL. 1 OHC

ALL-AMERICAN COMICS #16 FACSIMILE EDITION - first appearance of Alan Scott

DETECTIVE COMICS #140 FACSIMILE EDITION - first appearance of the Riddler

I hope the Kyle Rayner compendium sells well (I'll be getting a copy) - it'd be nice if DC would pick a format and commit for a few 90's runs so we can get them all collected. I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of Rayner GL, but it seems like it'd take two more larger Compendiums or three more at this size or a bit thinner to grab all of Marz's run. Entirely doable if they keep pumping them out with some regularity.

The Zero Hour one is curious - Omar caught that the page count is quite a bit longer. I'm really hoping I don't get temped into a double dip

Does DC do reprints like Marvel does? I want to pick up the second and third omnibuses for the Bronze Age Justice League but I’m not going to pay $300 for volume 2. The third one you can find for well below cover. I would wait it out if there’s ever a re-release, or just say the hell with it and get rid of my volume 1 and buy the Perez issues and the other stories I want. Anyone? Mr. Schoonover, I did pass on the WW Hulk info to my buddy who’s looking for the story. I own the issues so I myself am passing. Thank you for the heads up.

They do sometimes do reprints (They have reprinted Superman Golden Age 1, plus Batman Golden Age 1 & Green Lantern Silver Age 1 are both scheduled for reprints soon) so its not entirely out of the realm of possibility

My understanding is that these are not solicits, they are just in the catalogue. It's an important first step, but we've seen tons of books appear this way that we never got, or took years to get. When they are solicited then they are more of a sure thing.

Page count for Frankenstein is interesting. I assume it is 4 Morrison issues, but what from Lemire? Flashpoint + his New 52 issues don't fit and only his Flashpoint issues wouldn't be enough. I also assume that they wouldn't do Flashpoint + half of his opening arc in New 52.

This plus one more gets the title to Mark Waid vol. 1 yes? Speaking of we are now entering overdue territory for Waid vol.2 of the Flash.
