I want a Superman The Man of Steel Omni by John Byrne. I REALLY WANTED MY FIRST CHOICE to be a REPRINT of Infinite Crisis but we can't include reprints in this list. Dang it!
Reliving my second childhood.... Making my TPB's take a back seat.....I'm now a new DC Omnibus and Hard Bound Book Collector: Batman: The Golden Age Omni V1 / Legends of the Dark Knight: Jim Aparo Vol. 2 / Gotham Central Omni / Justice League of America Silver Age Omni's V1 & V2 / Superman: The Golden Age Omni V1/ Green Lantern Omni V1
with many more purchases soon to come.....
I'd kill for a Maggin era Supes omni. Would definitely take Byrne.
Did you guys knew about this?

The Omnibuses that i would get in heart beat, if DC published:
1.''Flash'' by Mark Waid
2.''Saga of the Swamp Thing'' by Alan Moore
3.''Blackest Night'' by Verious (with all the tie ins)
4.''Superman'' by John Byrne
5.''Hellblazer''by Garth Ennis
6.''Hitman'' by Garth Ennis
7.''Question'' by Dennis O'neil
8.''Lucifer'' by Mike Carey
9.''Seven Soldiers of Victory'' by Grant Morrison
10.''Catwoman'' by Ed Brubaker
I'm sure the overall initial monthly sales on the Golden Age volumes will sit around 6-800 but glad to see GA:Supes vol.4 ranked at #6 on IST weeks after release.

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
I can't decide if I want the upcoming Batwoman by J.H Williams. Its just a couple issues more than Elegy. Damn you DC
Curses. Batwoman is one of my favotite DC characters, so in had to pick up Elegy (and torture myself with that terrible N52 ending arcs..guh). Conflicted what to do. Maybe if it was HC I would go for it. As it is, I can't keep up with trades Anymore. Even picking up 8 in a month, I'm way behind. Damn you Rebirth and Young Animal.
That's why I never picked it up, they didn't include the other issues.
On another note, been seeking out most of the post IC PreN52 Superman family trades, mainly New Krypton. Took a look at the Legion trades from then, and it's such a clusterfuck of mishmashed collections. There are 5 collections, the 1st being a One Shot/100 Page Spectacular(meaning there is no ISBN, good luck finding this), the second collection comes in paperback, then the third collection(titled volume 1 because of course DC) is ONLY in hardcover, as is the fourth collection(volume 2), and the fifth(volume 3) and final collection before N52 is only in paperback.
So much for shelf synergy. Has anyone ever had a hardcover rebound as a paperback?
My Omnibus wishlist:
1. Morrison Batman run (52 chapters + B&S through Inc New 52 vol 2)
2. Flashpoint, to include main series + all tie-ins in best order.
3. Blackest Night, same as Flashpoint.
4. Zero Hour + tie-ins, in best order.
5. Forever Evil, + tie-ins, best order.
6. Morrison JLA
7. Byrne Superman
8. O'Neil's Question series (I've always wanted to read this, but good luck finding the vol 1 paperback for a decent price)
"Darkseid...always hated music..."
Every post I make, it should be assumed by the reader that the following statement is attached: "It's all subjective. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you, and vice versa, and that's ok. You may have a different opinion on it, but this is mine. That's the wonderful thing about being a comics fan, it's all subjective."
Looked through Batman: Zero Hour at my LCS and it contains
Batman 0, 511
Legends of the Dark Knight 0
Shadow of the Bat 0, 31
Catwoman 0,14 (misprinted on back cover as 74!)
Detectice Comics 0, 678
Robin 0, 10
Extras are a Batman timeline from his origin to Legacy & A villains timeline from year one to Cataclysm (both from Zero Hour I believe)
All covers before issues and printed on glossy paper
