DC recently released "Birds of Prey: Progeny" after originally missing it (its book 4 of Gail Simone's run of #56–90, 92–108)

Seeing as the online solicits for these books seem to nearly always be wrong here are what the Birds of Prey TPB's actually collect

    • Birds of Prey Vol. 1 - Black Canary/Oracle: Birds of Prey 1, Birds of Prey: Manhunt 1–4, Birds of Prey: Revolution 1, story from Showcase '96 #3, Birds of Prey: Wolves 1, Bird of Prey: Batgirl 1
    • Birds of Prey Vol. 2 - Birds of Prey 1–11, Birds of Prey: Ravens 1
    • Birds of Prey Vol. 3 - Birds of Prey 12–21, Nightwing 45–46
    • MISSING Issues 22-38
    • Batman: Bruce Wayne – Murderer? - Birds of Prey 39–41
    • MISSING Issue 42
    • Batman: Bruce Wayne – Fugitive - Birds of Prey 43
    • MISSING Issues 44-55
    • Birds of Prey: Murder & Mystery - Birds of Prey 56-67 & pinups from SF&O 1
    • Birds of Prey: Hero Hunters - Birds of Prey 68-80, Batgirl 57 & Batman 633
    • Birds of Prey: Fighters by Trade - Birds of Prey 81-91
    • Birds of Prey: Progeny- Birds of Prey 92-103
    • Birds of Prey: Whitewater - Birds of Prey 104-112
    • Birds of Prey: The End of the Beginning - Birds of Prey 113-127
    • Oracle: The Cure - Birds of Prey 126-127 & Oracle: The Cure 1-3

Kind of tempted to pick up my first Absolute. After switching from trades I've pretty much exclusively gone with omnibus but with some stories like Kingdom Come or Doomsday Clock not available in omnibus format it would be nice to be able to read them in a nice format again (ignoring that my bookshelves are too small for absolutes for a minute ). Do you guys who get them find them worth it?

I've gotten the Absolutes for books like Kingdom Come, All Star Superman, and New Frontier. I've also gotten them for my top creators like Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. But that's for books where the art justifies the larger size and I want all of the extra material. I did pass on the smaller books like Killing Joke or anything collected in an available omnibus.

I have a few and enjoy them. Certainly, Doomsday Clock (12 issues!) or Kingdom Come will look gorgeous in that format. I think Kingdom Come has a fair amount of back matter to enhance the experience. The books are pretty large (obviously), but if you're used to the heft of omnibii, you should be good.

Regarding space, I just bought a couple bookends and put my Absolutes on top of the bookcase and let them hold themselves up.

    1. Absolute JLA/Avengers
    2. Absolute Authority
    2. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
    4. House of Mystery: Bronze Age Vol 2
    5. Orion by Walt Simonson

I didn't really have a 5th choice. I only picked Orion so Walt can get an extra royalty check.

Nothing I really need or want on the reprint list. I'm pretty well set on that stuff. Can't wait for the new omnibus lists, though - just off the top of my head, I can name 20-ish omnis I want.
