I am sure this has already been answered, but does Batman Vol 3: Death of the Family HC only come in the white dust jacket?

    Wasn't this a limited edition?

It drives me nuts having all black spines on the shelf and then just 1 white one standing out.

The new printing is black and has the same cover as the softcover.

Buying any N52 HC that's been released since Detective v6 is going to drive you nuts as well then. New uniform design that's completely different from the old spines.

Perfect! I will have to look around for it.

Keep those pre-orders coming! With any luck, we'll get a vol. 2!
What are the other 2, if you don't mind?

I just meant that if DC thinks the demand is there, they may continue collecting Perez' run with a second omnibus. And these days, pre-order numbers are what the publishers look at to determine such things.

Absolute Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night are running low on Amazon, and Brightest Day Omnibus is down to only two copies. Amazon has a habit of letting DC books run very low before restocking, but this could also mean their OOP time is coming soon. Might be worth wishlisting to keep an eye on if you're still on the fence about them.

Stories from Absolutes would be included in GL omnibuses?

    Oooh. Duh.

My other favorite is Greg Rucka's run; the third spot alternates between Phil Jimenez and William Messner-Loebs, depending on what I'm in the mood for.

Correct. But, there are still some of us (insane) folks who want the Absolutes and the omnis. I love me some omnis, but, in my mind, you can't beat the Absolute format. It's by far my favorite way to consume comics.

I'm not that keen on my gl omni, the gl absolutes that have been released are they all stand alone stories?

Agree but I would rather get omnibuses, just cheaper option. Love my Absolutes.
