593 units for the Golden Age Green Arrow were just the units moved in it's initial month of release right? So it likely still sold more. I wonder how much more? I agree that the figures we have are in line with other Golden Age Omni books so a second volume should at least be a possibility.

Someone asked about the Knightfall Omnibus v3 dust jacket, so here's a cell phone pic of my just-arrived copy. It's the least busy of the three, but it will certainly fit in with the others (in the sense of not fitting in or looking good together).

I'm still a fan of Kelley Jones', and the only thing I'd change here is maybe make the rocks a little less... rocky?

So do you think they will just let this one go? I have the feeling after the cost of reprinting the New Gods they may just let this one go. Especially if the Absolute went by unnoticed. Oh well, I still have my 30 year old trades!

But I will still continue to buy the books I want
Still......... they don't care.
Too many mistakes is one thing and that is very bad
but when a mistake happens to a absolute edition and they can not be bothered
to correct as they release the story again in a deluxe edition, than it means They Do Not Care .

No kidding... really disappointing. I’ve no problem with some nice new Kelley Jones art, but maybe the better route would have been to have those covers be printed covers with no text, and the dust jackets be something a little more sleek and uniform? If I was still buying omnis regularly, I wouldn’t hesitate to make my own dust jacket for these.

I’ve no problem with some nice new Kelley Jones art, but maybe the better route would have been to have those covers be printed covers with no text, and the dust jackets be something a little more sleek and uniform? I absolutely agree, they would suit solely as printed covers. What were they thinking?

Btw, my Vol. 3 was ordered from IST last week but still hasn't been processed!

Exactly. It's mind-boggling - You use the Jones art for the front cover and *maybe* the back cover, then you have a dedicated spine design that makes sense for all 3 books, then you can print the full Jones artwork under the DJ on the book itself. Not rocket science!

According to bleedingcool they fixed the absolute edition, but does not seem to be a recall thing they just corrected it for the next printing.
