On the subject of DC trying to sort their recent issues with quality control out, they are advertising for a new collected editions editor: https://careers.timewarner.com/TGWeb...504&Codes=NIND

I meant more than, I figure these meetings are a lot of fun. Probably not, but imagine talking about collected editions and their future for a solid 2 hours.

So it's a hardcover after all. It was always solicited as such to my knowledge, but several sites today say "paperback" in their description.

Yep definitely a hardcover, I still find it strange that they did that seeing how the preceding collections (Tales of the GLC 1-3) and the follow on collections (GL: Emerald Dawn & GL Hal Jordan Vol 1) were both released as TPB's!

I am getting that GL harcover. I hope they do Vol 2 and thus do the Sinestro/Mad God 3600 story where Sinestro and Mad God kill billions (making Sinestro arguably the highest kill count villain in DC history). A point which I think every future writer of Sinestro would ignore (probably because they and the editors never read the arc or cared to remember it).

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

EDIT: Just unboxed my order from IST. Both Challengers by Loeb/Sale and the GL Corps books are std size HCs.

"Boomerang arrow, Kate... It comes back to you in the end. Boomerang. Respect it." - Clint
"Why the hell do you need an arrow that comes back to you after you shoot it, Clint?" - Kate
    "Because... Boomerangs." - Clint.

Picked up the House of Secrets Omnibus. Hopefully this will sell well enough to lead to more DC bronze age horror.
One comment on it is that a number of the covers look like scans of original covers possibly.
