My wishlist of existing trades that I'd like to see in Deluxe format:

52 w/ commentaries restored (never happen)
    Batman: City of Crime
    Batman: Dark Moon Rising
Batman & Superman vs. Vampires & Werewolves + Batman vs. The Undead
    Enemy Ace: War in Heaven
    Hitman
    R.E.B.E.L.S. (yeah right...vol. 5 never forget *pours out 40oz*)
    Superman by Busiek
    Wonder Woman by Rucka

Sandman Mystery Theatre (RIP - never forget *pours out more*)
Transmetropolitan - because doing Absolutes of this run is pretty dumb

Mt copy of Doom Patrol turned up this morning, from Bookworld. Oddly I hadn't even gotten a shipping notice for it, so most unexpected.

Word on the 52 with commentary (criminal that it's not in the omni!), Superman Busiek, and a Rucka WW.

I don't get why DC puts books together like this. I was just looking at the Marshal Rogers "Tales of" book, and I'm hesitant to buy it because it doesn't have the full Strange Apparitions arc.

Anyone else get the IDW newsletter. They had a blurb on the upcoming Watchmen Artifact edition. It showed at just $100, so I'm guessing it definitely isn't the complete book.

Hitman is at the top of my wish list for deluxes, along with deluxes of Preacher and Starman. Preacher I think we'll get with the series. Starman is a lost cause, when they won't even continue with the softcover omnibuses.

It's not complete, IRRC they didn't have all the original pages. That's why it's not an artist edition but an artifact edition.

Yeah, they were upfront about it from the start that it wasn't going to be the full book. I'm still interested to see what it will contain.

I assume you are based in the uk. Dont you get hit with custom charges since Books_Any are US based. Just wondered as they typically are the cheapest for alot of books. Custom fees are what puts me off buying from them.

By the way I pre ordered Doom Patrol from speedy hen for around £45. It has since increased in price there though.

US-based but when you shop in the EU they ship from the UK

There aren't any custom fee's for having books imported to the UK. I think the actual wording is something like "printed papers" or something.

I have ordered quite a lot from Books_any and I never had to pay custom fees.

There has never been any VAT on books coming into the UK (being educational and all that or something) so you'll never pay any customs charges. People have been lobbying to get the tax removed on e-books as those are classed as 'digital media'.
