It is essential IMHO, the themes, Darkseid, Batman's presumed death and etc. The FC Omni has some Batman issues, but there's like 50 issues of Morrison Batman run after Final Crisis with Batman and Robin #1-16, Return of Bruce Wayne #1-6, Batman #700-702 (some of these are oddly in the FC Omni when they don't need to be), and Batman Incorporated (Batman Incorporated #1–8, Batman Incorporated: Leviathan Strikes! #1, Batman, Incorporated Vol. 2 #0–13)

(Morrison's Batman run goes beyond just the issues in the Batman titled comic book....B&R, RoBW, Inc...all equal important parts)

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Thanks, I did download those. This will sound silly but how do I proceed to get them printed in a similar paper weight and semi-gloss like the production ones? Is that something a Staples, Kinkos or the like will do?

Yea, that's my question too! How do I get a dustjacket printed up!

Wow, awesome. I don't suppose you have any alternative Knightfall dust jackets?

I'd also rather just have a Final Crisis Deluxe Edition without the crossovers. But I'll end up buying the omnibus. I already have the FC hardcover, but I vastly prefer oversized trim to standard.

Well, we can just wait for five years and get the "15th annyversary deluxe edition"

Think I'm going to pass on all of these. I already have the Absolute's for Final Crisis and Loeb/Sale Batman, Tony Daniel's Deathstroke was awful and I'm not really interested in Arkham comics.

Yep, Kinkos or Staples, etc should be able to help. Some can be sticklers for copywrited material, but if you run into those, explaining you’re printing one copy for personal use is usually okay. I’d bring the existing dust jacket and explain you’re looking to replace it with a similar weighted paper and gloss and they should be able to help.

No, but I made these covers for some binds for someone last year. Could probably modify them to fit the omnis (but have to wait for the third volume to make the spine images line up):

If you don't want a connecting spine image but have something specific you want otherwise for the first two volumes, feel free to hit me up, I'm happy to put something together.

Very cool! I was half joking, but that's impressive work. As you mentioned, waiting for the last volume makes sense before messing around too much with new designs.

Some of the hardcovers from the most recent DC solicits have shown up on Amazon, plus a few things that I don't think we knew about yet, including a Killing Joke Absolute and Batman Golden Age 6.

Those are awesome non-Kelley-Jones Knightfall bind covers. I especially love Vol 2's cover for some reason.

It hasn't been mentioned in a while, but we did know about the KJ Absolute. And it's cool to see the solicit for GA6 after the recent speculations!

Way better in my opinion, yes. It's great to hear Dick might be modifying them to fit the Omnis.

DC is apparently releasing a ton of 25th Anniversary of Knightfall trades:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/1401284221...30%3Adc+comics

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/1401284299...man+knightfall

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/1401284396...man+knightfall

Looks like three TPBs to cover the first omnibus
