    Hardcover
    $29.99 USD, $39.99 CAD
One of the best-loved titles by Grant Morrison, bestselling author of titles including WONDER WOMAN: EARTH ONE, ALL-STAR SUPERMAN, BATMAN AND ROBIN, SEVEN SOLDIERS, DOOM PATROL, JLA, THE INVISIBLES, FINAL CRISIS and many more, is repackaged in a new hardcover. Collects ANIMAL MAN #1-10 and a story from SECRET ORIGINS #39.
So they're gonna re-release the Morrison omni in (presumably) 3 Deluxe Editions...? I might be on board for that. While I love my omni, I'll never read it again because it's a damn mousetrap.

I thought the same thing about the spines making a picture, possibly this one http://batman.wikia.com/wiki/File:Knightfall_novel.jpg to match the bloody "S" shield?
Prodigal is apparently collected on its own. No Troika - only way to get that story in a collected form is the Knightfall v3 Omnibus, it appears.

We’re on the exact same page for all of the above for all the same reasons! Also I suspect there will one day be a Flashpoint omnibus.

I'm surprised that it's taken them 30 years to finally decide to release this as an Absolute Edition. I'll be getting this and Flashpoint the day of release.

I wouldn't say its his BEST run. That's debatable. But it certainly is a good starting place, and makes the character accessible. IMO anyway. Its a great run, some of GJs best. Again, IMO.

So I got a reply from DCBS concerning the Fourth World omni corrected version. They checked with DC and confirmed that the reprints will indeed have sewn binding like the original.

What would you say is the character's best run then? I recently read everything from the 1984 limited series up and I think it is. A lot of folks like to cite Peter David's run, which I think was good but it wasn't as strong as I remembered it. I really liked the Johns' stuff and after David there was some really bad Aquaman. Obviously it's all personal taste and I didn't pick up anything after Johns left.
