Wanna get the Justice League International Omnibus so bad but reading and hearing about the errors and reproduction are concerning. What’s the verdict on it?

Hi five on that! I'd be all over a Zero Hour omni. That event falls squarely in the middle of my first return to reading comics, so I have a ton of nostalgia for it.

The Rebirth trade i got because how much praise it received, and rightfully so! I would put it on my top 4 possibly top 3 Rebirth titles. Its superb!
First off, boo that you don't go to the Marvel thread anymore. I always enjoy your posts.

I've heard from so many places that the Rebirth Red Hood book is good. I want to believe, but I really didn't like the N52 book and don't enjoy Lobdell at all. I'm a huge JTodd fan, but I look at that book and think, "I don't want to read about JTodd hanging out with Artemis and Bizarro. I want to read about him being bros with Dick and Tim." Is there any chance I'd still like it?

I custom bound that series (thanks, DickGrayson!) and I love it. I'd probably double dip for an official collection, but in the meantime I'm satisfied...

I think its worth a shot. And believe me - the N52 run was not for me at all. But I REALLY dig what is happening in rebirth with it. Its fun, its emotional, and it has a few surprises. It probably won't be want you want (The Ex-Robin bros, if you will.) But if youre a JT fan, id say at least give it a good. The rebirth trades are real cheap. Or see if a library has V.1 or digital!

    P.S - you like my posts!?! ಥ⌣ಥ

I did the same thing makes a nice one volume hardcover. Great read to bad it won't be collected anytime soon, but I get why DC would not print it.

Your best bet is to simply be patient and wait. The errors are real and, for me, significant. The replacement will be more available eventually. It will say "Second Printing" on the inside.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

I recall reading there was no way to tell outside of buying and opening up the volume to even know you have a second printing (as you say). So you could buy off amazon in 2 years and STILL get the uncorrected copy. The best bet would be to buy from in stock trades or similar comic book seller (and email to confirm if they know if they have the correct version).

Side note - I thought if you bought new directly from Amazon (as opposed to a marketplace seller) that you got the latest printing/edition of a book?

I could also be totally making that up...

When I look on the amazon listing, it shows the original release date. A new reprint date is not indicated.

    This was from bleeding cool.
There is also no way to tell the printings apart by looking at the covers or barcodes, which are identical. Copies of the new printing will be mixed with any remaining stock on the retail and wholesale levels and Diamond has not issued a separate order code. As far as Bleeding Cool can tell, the only way to determine which edition is which is by breaking the shrink wrap to look at the indicia and/or check for errors. It’s like a stealth second printing — one that may rely on you using X-Ray vision to find the corrected version.

    Ah ha, got it.

If I didn't already own the damn thing, I'd definitely be busting shrinkwrap open before shelling out the cash...

    What errors are in it?
