Isn't the new Vol.4 being printed in dlx HC? I think its just a sales thing. It was originally supposed to.

Hey does anyone own the 52 Omnibus? How's the quality of it? I've seen pics online of some that had the whole book just rip off the binding. I would be reading flat on a table, don't know if that matter or not. Heard the series was really good, and I would get the paperbacks, but I'm going to be having surgery on my hand soon so holding a paperback up is kinda outta the question for a bit. Just don't want that thing ripping apart especially for the price that it is lol.

I suppose DC decided to give this arc the deluxe treatment because of Sejic's art, not to mention it made Aquaman more similar to his movie counterpart, both in appearance and status quo. No wonder it's coming out one month before the movie's premiere.

The last three DC Deluxe Hardcovers I have purchased (Watchmen, COIE 30th Anniversary and the GL/GA Hard Traveling Heroes) all have thick, uncoated stock. I like that.

Sigh, time to double dip again on that Sandman omnibus.

The Supergirl Omni sounds about right regarding sales.
Knightfall was and remains one of my high points of Batman reads. It's a watershed event that spotlighted a, then, just introduced foe in Bane and made him the icon he is today. So I'm surprised on the sales for it. Were the other two entries that low? I just thought they were higher.

It has been two years(give or take) since DC did Batman&Superman: World's Finest Omni vol.1 (Silver Age).
Is there material for a volume 2? I assume so otherwise the volume we have wouldn't be titled 'volume 1'.
Wonder what the delay is cause I'm sure it likely sold the same 600-700 units that the Superman and Batman solo titled Golden Age Omnis sell.
The delay on this follow up makes me cautiously concerned about getting a Green Arrow Golden Age volume 2.

Just posted in the Marvel thread that I‘d take these numbers with a grain of salt as Knightsend was only published during the last few days of May (online retailers - which do not count here, but still - only got the book around 5 June). So I‘d rather wait and add the June numbers to that.

    Wait . . . what??
Cool. I've always been curious about Daytripper.
I've got Sandman in Absolutes and plan to get Overture in Absolute, but this is still good news for those who want it.
There's also a He-Man omnibus coming out. Ha ha. (Not kidding)

I completely agree. In addition, I always felt Knightsend was the best of the trilogy.

At least those are easy to handle. I won't upgrade to the omnibus just for shelf uniformity. I like a comfy read and it's still oversized.

I love daytripper but not sure if I want to upgrade from the deluxe. I sorta feel like I should because it's in my top 10 but the deluxe is nice enough.
    Still you should get it.
