DC Hardcover Collected Editions Part 3

Anyone else excited for the Norm Breyfogle Batman HC being released next week? This volume contains some of the first Batman comics I read and I can't wait!!!

I'm totally psyched about this book! My first Batman books that my dad bought me, in 1991, were an Argentinian edition that mixed the runs by Starlin and Aparo and Grant and Breyfogle. Also, this is going to be the first time I read those stories in English.

I saw a set of the JSA omnis side by side on Facebook today.

I went and bought a vol.1 after that. Will pick up 2 and 3 next week.

I loved it. Great stories, good characterization of all the members and the art was really good.

No. It's your average DC binding from a few years back. The Invisibles and The Sandman Vol. 2 have the same kind of binding. Better than their mouse traps, but nowhere near as good as JSA Vol. 2 or Green Lantern.

No. It's your average DC binding from a few years back. The Invisibles and The Sandman Vol. 2 have the same kind of binding. Better than their mouse traps, but nowhere near as good as JSA Vol. 2 or Green Lantern.

I had totally forgotten about the Facebook group The Omnibus Collector had announced. So awesome! Found the pic, is it just me or is Volume 3 slightly thinner? (Also quit chuffed to see that Annihilation Conquest is roughly the same thickness as Annihilation. I'm a sucker for consistency. )

My Green Lantern binding has started to really loosen to the point that it's concerning me. I've never really had this problem before, even on my really old stuff.

On a related note, I pulled my 100 Bullets hardcovers out to sell, and they all had black marks on the white covers. Really irritating.
