The price is not bad, it depends on how many books you are doing really and then of course shipping. The quality is great they offer a couple different ways these can be bound. The Flash and Question books I have from them are excellent they lay flat no gutter lose you get some ads removed but can keep covers to the individual issues and also mix trades in with the single issues. I would really suggest reaching out to them and see if it is something you are interested in, very helpful with mapping and also design.

I am just not to big on the uniform spine thing and like the different styles of the Flash name, especially volume 4 I am a big fan of that story nice to have that style on that volume. The designs are all done by http://comicbindingpro.com/ they have bunch of designs on the site and really just do a great job on design.

As long as the covers have some detail to make them stand out, fine by me. You have to admit Transmetropolitan look incredibly flat, which is not helped by the poor art reproduction.

Now, about The New Frontier deluxe edition's paper... it's actually a very strange paper. It's thick, but also light. Compared to a 100 Bullets Deluxe, the New Frontier is way fatter but also much lighter. All in all, I have to say I like it and I think it fits the story and coloring very well. I actually really appreciate it how DC uses different paper stocks accordingly to the book.

Similar to some of the omnibus especially with the way it is bound, but smaller is size obviously as it is made out of single issues so the paper is what it is. The hardcover is the same as any other hardcover no difference in quality of the actual hardcover. I was really impressed after I got the first set of them back, it is a very nice hardcover. Here is a shot of the binding up close, books lays open from beginning to end and also added a picture that shows off the table of contents.

Do you guys think we'll get a Geoff Johns Aquaman omnibus?

Yes, but it'll most likely be called "Deluxe Edition"

Exactly. It's Johns, so it will get nice treatment. It's just a matter of when.
I'm really surprised we haven't gotten some kind of Flash V. 4 and Flashpoint omnibus combo at this point.

Yeah a slipcase with a dust jacket just seems redundant

I hope the give Johns's Action Comics run the Deluxe Edition treatment although maybe too much time has passed since that run.

Incidentally, I started reading The New Frontier for the very first time just last night, and in the form of the Deluxe Edition. I'm really enjoying the story so far, and I think the paper's good. It's matte, but IMO, not cheap. Feels good between the fingers, I've had no issues with the colours.

That World's FInest is an interesting choice but not unwelcome by me. Love to see a Golden Age All Star Comics

Probably looking forward to that Supergirl collection and the continuation of the Robin collection more than anything.

--Up to two years now without a new Archive. Is that line dead now? Wish they'd make an announcement.

I couldn't resist and had to double dip with Y: The Last Man. I know people will ask me whether it was worth it and all I can say is that its like upgrading from the iPhone 5 to the iPhone 6+. Totally worth it.
