I was thinking about the new Green Lantern omnis... can I read it knowing nothing about Green Lantern? Is it a good starting point?
I would like big editions like that... there is nothing on Batman? Morrison stuff maybe

oh yeah, accidentally I left out his GL. Yes, it's a good starting point and a good run.
Morrison has the most confusing Batman run ever collection wise. There are oop deluxes and absolutes but no omni and it's also best if you read Final Crisis as well and that's not an easy read for a newbie.
I would rather recommend his Justice League run. 4 chunky trades or deluxes, good stuff!

I saw a copy of Batman Black and White 2 today in an LCS. It was taller than a deluxe, closer to Absolute height maybe.

Did all three of the pre-New 52 volumes get this treatment? What are those volumes like build-wise?

I'll not be going back because the pricing in there is laughable and the pushy staff are worse, but it piqued my interest.

Managed to sell my 4 GC HC's on eBay this weekend, so that pays for the omni, hadn't read it in a while, so had a quick peek as I packed them, what a great book, this will be a great omni, if only the TV show was based on the books

The nice thing with pre-ordering on Amazon is that you can pre-order something and then cancel it just before the release if the price isn't right since you only have to pay when the product is shipped and with the lowest price guarantee you'll always have the lowest possible Amazon pre-order price

Yeah, of course but I wish they'd display that lowest pre-order price. Currently they'll ship your product and you'll receive an email saying that you saved X eur on the order, but there's no way of knowing if the price fluctuated between time of ordering and shipping (or is there?!).

The price gets updated auromatically. So if you order something today for $20, the next day it's $15 and the day after that it's $25 then you pay $15.

Oh god yes. The Gotham TV show is such a waste because Gotham Central would make such a brilliant show but it'll never happen now because FOX have decided to go with the abomination we have instead.

Just saw that superman American alien is written by Max landis . I hope this is the same story from his pitch to Dc that's on youtube. If you haven't seen the video you need to watch it. The way he explains it is awesome I watch it every once in a while its like listening to an awesome audio book read along. Although he is a douche lol.

I really hope that someone will take some pics of the WW by Perez Omni. I already have a custom bound book of all 4 of the trades with a custom Perez sketch in it, so I think that I've already got all of the content, but I'm still wanting to see how good the book looks.
