I love the dc universe by Alan moore collection. Besides the famous stuff it collects a lot of short not as well know stories.

So I just finished the Batman Year 100 deluxe edition and can't decide if I loved it or hated it.

C'mon, man. Book 4 when the Batman is asked who he truly is and replies with "you'll never know!" Truly a geek out moment for me.
We were all wondering just who the hell this guy could be under the mask and that moment really sealed it for me - we don't need to know who's under the mask. Nearly all the privacy in Gotham has disappeared and this is the one man who can keep a secret.

I couldn't get into it. You can tell Paul Pope is super enthusiastic about everything he does, but the writing just isn't strong enough.

    Pope should stick to Scooby-Doo.

So Ive read injustice year one and two and loved them both. I have vol 1 of year 3 and vol 2 just came in today, gonna read them pretty soon. I thought that taylor wrote all of year 3 but it seems according to my vol 2 that Buccellatio took over for the last half of year 3. Ive heard mixed views after he has taken over. Are year 4 and 5 worth picking up for someone who has enjoyed what came before with taylor?

I'm actually interested in seeing what the spine looks like - whether it matches in any way the Golden Age Omnibusses or whether it has a totally different design whatsoever.

Hey guys. I've been a long-time lurker. I just got my copy today so I registered to share a few pics:

Nice! I haven't decided yet whether or not to get the Batman book

Speaking of pictures; did anyone pick of the Neal Adams Batman Omnibus? I am extremely curious about what is actually collected in the book, and if it's going to be a disjointed mess of random issues or something actually worth buying.

There are pics on Neal's website in the store section.

    Edit: no interior shots though
