How many of these GA Superman omnis do you think we'll get? Where is the actual stopping point of material?

Golden Age ran til the mid-50's right, so I guess potentially up til then.
    Depends on sales most likely.

Were they doing tpb versions or did I just dream that?

they are doing them, I have Superman v1 and JLA v1. Flash v1 I think is out already (I have the omni), SA GL is in the current solicitations, Batman GA v1 is due in August.
I'm planning to buy at least the vol1 tpb-s of everything just as I have vol1 MMW-s from mostly everything Marvel I'm interested in (or doesn't cost an arm and leg).
I honestly love that DC is consistently releasing everything in paperbacks they did in omnibus.

Knight fall had a lot of editorial interference so who can say what his true role was. The run certainly didn't suck. I will say the the return in which Bruce comes back for the mantle was excellent and still stands the test of time. There's some chilling scenes where he thinks he's ready again. He's standing on top of a building looking down, grappling hook in hand and thinking about diving. But he's not ready. Yet.
So as someone who has read very little Batman (No Mans Land, Long Halloween, Dark Victory, First dozen or so Snyder issues) would it be worth picking up?

Thanks to everyone who voted. Here is the full list:

    25. Wonder Woman by George Perez Omnibus volume 2. (TIE)
    25. Justice League by Geoff Johns Omnibus (presumably) volume 1 (TIE)
    23. The Spectre by Ostrander Omnibus volume 1 (TIE)
    23. Robin by Chuck Dixon Omnibus (TIE)
    21. Absolute Wonder Woman by Azzarello and Chiang volume 2 (TIE)
    21. Shade: The Changing Man Omnibus volume 1 (TIE)
    19. Absolute Superman: Birthright by Mark Waid (TIE)
    19. The Question by Denny O'neil Omnibus (TIE)
    18. Starman by Robinson and Daniel Omnibus volume 1
    17. Absolute Wonder Woman by Azzarello and Chiang volume 1
    16. Sandman Mystery Theatre by Wagner volume 1
    15. Absolute Batman and Son + The Black Glove
    13. WildC.A.T.S by Joe Casey Omnibus (TIE)
    13. JLA by Grant Morrison Omnibus (TIE)
    12. Absolute Batman: RIP
    11. Catwoman by Ed Brubaker and Darwyn Cooke Omnibus
    10. Batman by Snyder and Capullo
    8. Batman by Grant Morrison Omnibus volume 1 (TIE)
    8. Superman by John Byrne (TIE)
    7. Justice League by Giffen and Dematis
    6. Wonder Woman by Azzarello and Chiang Omnibus
    4. Absolute Swamp Thing by Alan Moore volume 1 (TIE)
    4. Green Arrow by Mike Grell volume 1 (TIE)
    3. Hitman by Garth Ennis Omnibus volume 1
    2. The Flash by Mark Waid Omnibus volume 1
    1. Swamp Thing by Alan Moore Omnibus

Some notes: Having a full list, you'll notice the spread is 6 Absolutes and 20 Omnibus Editions. Wonder Woman by Azzarello and Chiang was the only series to receive a volume 2 without a previous volume one existing currently. Even then without the prior stipulation, it was Wonder Woman. 11 books requiring multiple volumes on the list. 5 books from the New 52. 9 series from the last 10 years. Given that Swamp Thing grabbed both an Absolute AND an Omnibus in spots 4 and 1, respectively, it pretty much ran away with everyone's votes by a LARGE MARGIN. There were 6 ties.

Personally, I'd be in for 14 of these. How many would you be in for?

This is what I would be in for. I really hate Absolute Editions, so I took all of those out and I'm happy enough with my current collections for Swamp Thing, Starman and Morrison JLA

    I'd buy these!
Glad to see Question by O'neil made it! Great stuff!
Sad there's no love for Animal Man (Lemire Omnibus or my favourite would be the weird stuff after Morrison: Omnibus vol. 2 (Animal Man (vol. 1) #27-63)

I'd be all in on these:
    25. Wonder Woman by George Perez Omnibus volume 2. (TIE)
    23. The Spectre by Ostrander Omnibus volume 1 (TIE) (Though I've picked up the trades to date and hate double-dipping I'd get this to support Ostrander and more series from this era)
    19. The Question by Denny O'neil Omnibus (TIE)
    11. Catwoman by Ed Brubaker and Darwyn Cooke Omnibus
    10. Batman by Snyder and Capullo
    4. Green Arrow by Mike Grell volume 1 (TIE)
    2. The Flash by Mark Waid Omnibus volume 1

    Maybe pile:
    23. Robin by Chuck Dixon Omnibus (TIE)
    13. JLA by Grant Morrison Omnibus (TIE) - Highly doubt I'd make this purchase as the tpbs serve me just fine and I'm not dying to see that art oversized. However, it would be very tempting, especially if it included any new extras.
    8. Superman by John Byrne (TIE)
    7. Justice League by Giffen and Dematis
    4. Absolute Swamp Thing by Alan Moore volume 1 (TIE)/1. Swamp Thing by Alan Moore Omnibus

    Other comments:
    18. Starman by Robinson and Daniel Omnibus volume 1 - So overrated.
    8. Batman by Grant Morrison Omnibus volume 1 (TIE) - a "no", but only b/c I have it all already and despise double-dipping

3 of my votes didn't make it. Surprised about Ostrander Suicide Squad and Seven Soldiers. My other was Batman Eternal. I think it would be a great similar to 52, but with so much material uncollected in these formats i wasn't shocked not to see it. I woukd probably by most of the top 25, or at least strongly consider it as i dont have a ton of DC stuff mainly because they don't utilize these formats like they should

Still no indication of a deluxe edition of grayson coming out. Should I break down and buy the trades?
