Hey, Absolute WW dropped 25 bucks. That's something, at least. I appreciate it, random DC interns who may be viewing the thread.

I think this has been discussed but not positive.
While I look forward to a Knightfall omnibus, the solicit has got to be wrong:

Collecting the entire Knightfall saga in a single hardcover edition for the first time, including BATMAN: VENGEANCE OF BANE #1, BATMAN #491-514, DETECTIVE #659-681, SHOWCASE 93 #7-8, BATMAN: SHADOW OF THE BAT #17-34, ROBIN #7-13, CATWOMAN #6-7, BATMAN: LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT #62-63 and more

That's more than 70 issues and actually covers the time after "fall." Was it "crusade"? I can't remember. Anyway, I figure, this is a misprint.

I've got a question. I was thinking about getting the three Geoff John's JSA omnibuses but I already have a few of the TP's collecting his run. I have read on Amazon that the non-Geoff John's comics that are included in the omnibuses are not that great and kind of are filler material. However, I do like the omnibus format but I also like to read laying down. I had no problem with the Orion omnibus which I think is over 800 pages in length. But I noticed some of the JSA ones are almost twice that size. However, I also noticed that the weight only increased by a couple of pounds. Still, I am worried about them being unwieldy.

    What do you guys think?

I hate to throw a good chunk of change at one of these things and have a problem reading them.

I think I have already asked a similar question on these forums once so please forgive me if I am repeating myself. The omnibus format and the current low prices for them is such a temptation. I hate not to snag them and then have to watch the price shoot up when they go out of print. But then again, if I can't enjoy reading them then there is no sense in buying one.

That would be great if it's all those issues. That would make it 1500-1600 pages. A large omnibus for sure. But not the largest ever. And it would be great to have the whole story in one place.

I'm pretty sure it would be the largest ever by Marvel or DC. Nothing else comes to mind. Invisibles and Thor were pretty big but not 70-issues big.

You're gonna be broke! That Books of Magic appears to be a tpb and not a HC.
That was a great series. Would love it collected in an omnibus or two.

1500 pages????? Are you kidding me????
With a book that big they'll have to ship it out by freight truck and we'll have to dolly it into the house. WOW!
Reliving my second childhood.... Making my TPB's take a back seat.....I'm now a new DC Omnibus and Hard Bound Book Collector: Batman: The Golden Age Omni V1 / Legends of the Dark Knight: Jim Aparo Vol. 2 / Gotham Central Omni / Justice League of America Silver Age Omni's V1 & V2 / Superman: The Golden Age Omni V1/ Green Lantern Omni V1
with many more purchases soon to come.....

    Gonna be? Already am....

And yeah, some of those being tpbs are disappointing, but I highly doubt we'll ever see them printed in HCs, let alone omnibuses

Yeah you're more than likely right. I really liked the Azzarello WW but I'm still mulling whether I want two Absolutes (I hope it's only two) or not. It's a pricey purchase but it looks like their forgoing an omnibus.

You missed out. Both of those were in stock on IST a few days ago.

I've been meaning on getting this after learning BoM had a continuation after Gaiman. Now that its being reprinted, I know I need to save up.
