Didn't see that one. It's a pass, as I have the deluxe hardcovers.

In for WW 3 and LoSH 2 though, and a couple trades form that list

I missed out on the DE's of Ex Machina and the last two are too hard to find without paying an arm and a leg for them, so I'll be getting this omnibus.

It's an awesome series. Highly recommend it. Harris is wonderful, some of his best work, and BKV is on point. If I didn't have the deluxes I'd be all over this!

For Ex Machina, they just wanted to add to the absolute behemoth Vertigo Omnis that are The Invisibles and Doom Patrol.

I am torn on Ex Machina great series, but another monster omnibus from Vertigo. It would be nice if they did some two volume on some of the longer running series.

Are the OHCs hard to find now? They are nice books. But yes two omnis would make more sense from just a practicality standpoint.

They could do it as a two volume slipcase set. That way they would still the revenue from a single book, but it would make things easier for readers. The main drawback from DC's point of view would be that it would reduce their profit margin because of the increased production costs. But if they thought it would increase overall sales, I'm sure they'd at least consider it.

I normally sell the OHC’s when an omni comes out, but as mentioned, 1400 pages is just too big, but if you don’t already have it, I can’t recommend it enough, wonderful story and art

I read it in trades. Borrowed from a friend who had them. If anyone hasn't read them and you also like non-cape fare then I highly recommend this series.
That said, it's not one I'm itching to re-read so it'll be a pass from me. Too much unread/never read on my "to read pile".

I think we all know this isn't going to be the cover!! LOL!! I guess Amazon just needs a place holder but they keep these all the way through release sometimes.

Yep, agreed. I've read the series before in TPBS, but I sold them. I just can't stand TPBS anymore. The only time I buy them is when there is no alternative whatsoever.

The last two DE's are somewhat hard to find, but it's their price tag that makes me pass on them.

I'll find it cheaper than that. Probably around $75-80
