It kind of sucked, to be honest, and I think it soured some fans who had been enjoying what Johns, Palmiotti and Gray had set up prior. I think Starlin wanted to undo Carter and set up Katar. It was not a good time for the Hawks.

Starfire should be on this list
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

    And Kate Spencer: Manhunter

and GL Jessica Cruz (I know this poll was originally created years ago but she'd deserve to be on it now)

Vixen is a character with a cool power set that’s looking for an interesting hook. A lot of time the they want to peg her as a street level hero (stereotypically) but she’s way to powerful for that. I think they should play up the international element of the character. Make her a globetrotting Interpol agent or something.

In fairness, street level isn't inherently a bad thing and hasn't hurt Luke Cage or Black Lightning.

I voted Stargirl because of the characters I know nothing about she's one of the ones I'm most interested in learning about, Star Sapphire because she also expands the whole GL/space/cosmic side of the DC universe, and Supergirl because I like her and she expands the Super family and mythos.

I'd love to see Sky Rocket get her own series, I loved Power Company.

    1st choice Zatanna
    and then Vixen.
Some of them either can't carry a title (yes, not even a mini) or should get a mini instead of an ongoing IMHO.

Of them, Witchfire seemed to have the most built-in backstory potential, with her mysterious origins (and nature, unknown even to herself), but Skyrocket also definitely had some unanswered questions that could use exploration. She also had the most innately heroic nature of the initial group, and was the most likely to find herself in a position on some other team like the League, Outsiders or Birds of Prey, I thought (or operating as a solo hero, just because it was in her nature, while Witchfire might get back on stage and Stryker Z back into show-business, etc.).

There are a lot of women I'd like to see with their own title but most of them aren't on the poll (Black Canary, Huntress, Powergirl, Batgirl (Cassandra)

I chose Zatanna, she's everyone's obvious choice, and Lady Shiva, because I would love a kung fu book with her as one of the major characters.

There were a few others on the list I quite like, but I feel they need more character development on a team before going solo, either that, or I'm not so big on villains having their own titles.
