Only the newest showed up. But here's a cast list with even the main ones. Pretty good. Far better than a certain director about a decade ago (it's been that long!?).

George Takei (voice only, kind of a shame, but should be good) and Daniel Dae Kim are the big names, and all the casting I can certainly see in the parts. And since cabbage merchant is in this, I'm expecting plenty of humor.

Netflix’s Live-Action ‘Avatar’ Series ‘Took Out How Sexist’ Sokka Was in the Original: ‘A Lot of Moments’ in the Animated Show ‘Were Iffy

they went from the show illustrating character growth that "sexism is bad" to "sexism doesn't exist"
"Dedra Meero is not just a woman in a men’s world, but a fascist in a world of fascists.” - Denise Gough
I'm significantly less worried about it since it was a single episode arc for Sokka and they have to cut something down anyways.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?
I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP
I'm thinking that for a preteen cartoon character some level of misogyny would look like "let's all point and laugh when it blows up in his face", but from an older live action character it might out the guy into a pit as far as the audience is concerned, especially if they want to focus on his more positive qualities. It's been ages since I have watched the show, but IIRC, in the first few episodes it seemed like the correct course of action was always the opposite of what Sokka was saying. He didn't come into his own until a little later.
Dark does not mean deep.
