Opinions on New Star Wars titles

Just wondering what the consensus is on the new Star Wars titles now that the first trades are starting to be released. Are they holding up beyond the original hype? Worth getting? How do you rank the titles (Star Wars, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Lando, Chewbacca, etc.) compared to each other?

(There really should be a separate forum for Star Wars comics btw.)

I really liked Darth Vader and thought the first arc is probably the best of all the Star Wars comics. It has started to fall off the last few issues though. The Star Wars book proper started off a little weak I think but has gotten better as it has gone along. One I really like is the Kanan series and it has been pretty great every issue so far.

I have not read Leia, Chewbacca, Lando, or Shattered Empire yet.

Agreed with Darth Vader falling off after the last few issues. I am close to just stop buying it now.

I really hate prequels too.

Wish they would just go future mode and do new stories that we don't know the ending to. Or go way far into the past.

They're so-so. I wasn't going to buy them simply because I was a fan of the Dark Horse Star Wars comics. I still think the Dark Horse Comics are better, but then again maybe it's a bit too early to make that statement. I only collect Star Wars and Darth Vader. I read the Princess Lea mini, and found it to be mediocre. I am reading Shattered Empire to see how they handle things after the destruction of the Death Star. The only other title I would read as a solo character project would be Boba Fett. Maybe Luke if it focused on the time he took to master his Jedi power before and after Return of the Jedi.

I've been really digging them. I was a huge fan of DHC Star Wars, but was prepared to jump into these new ones and I love them.

Unlike those above, I like the direction that Darth Vader is going in. Though I might be biased towards both Darth Vader and Kieron Gillen.

I liked the Princess Leia mini, but I haven't read Lando or the first issue of Chewbacca. Haven't been reading Kanan either.

I've only read the first volume of Star Wars & Darth Vader and I liked them, I liked the Dark Horse comics as well so I'm not really noticing much of a rise in quality.

I like all the ongoings, Darth Vader is the strongest. Princess Leia was meh, Lando was pretty good, haven't checked out Chewbacca yet though.

Kanan was a pretty good origin book.
