Hello CBR members!

I'm staring this thread as a place for us to talk about our comic collections, or any comic related memorabilia. These items can be books, toys, cards, games, action figures or other related material.

I assume that most of the posts would be super hero related, but they don't need to be. Example: Gold key comics put out a Wacky Races comic, so if you have Wacky Races animation cels or toys, they are welcome here.

Collections can be of DC/Marvel or any other company.

I have a bunch of images of my collection, which centers around The Super Friends.

We'll start with a large wall poster.

This is the wall across from the poster.

Top to bottom:

Model cels of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin. In the middle of them is a Super Friends pillowcase I've framed.

Next are cels of Aquaman and the Wonder Twins. In the middle are various group shots, just images on photographic paper, not cels.

Then there are model cels of Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Flash, Atom, Rima, Green Lantern, Black Vulcan, Samurai, Apache Chief and El Dorado. In the middle are a hand-painted gift from a friend, a near complete line-up from the cartoon, and then some landscape group shots on photographic paper.

Super Friends pins that are being released by Fan Sets. Fan Sets is putting out tons of pins of various characters from DC, Star Trek, Harry Potter, and others.

Row 2: Flash, Hawkman, Apache Chief, Firestorm, Cyborg


I've been in touch with Fan Sets at their FB page, and they've said that more Super Friends characters are on the way.

In the middle is Super Friends Showcase, which reprints (in black and white) the run of The Super Friends comic, from #1 - #34.

On either side are volumes 1 & 2 of The Ultimate Super Friends Companion. Will Rodgers, a lifelong fan of the Super Friends, writes this ultimate companion to the series.

Volume 1 of the print edition, which covers the 1970s incarnations of the "Super Friends," offers up goodies like these:

Lengthy commentary and analysis of each episode of the 1970s series
Character profiles of the heroes and villains
A rundown of the DVD content for each '70s series
Features on the history of the five main heroes in comics and other media and on the writing style of the "Super Friends"
Retrospectives of superhero teamups over the years and the history of DC and Warner Bros. classic animation

Not all characters are in the picture, but they match the framed pillowcase from before. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Wendy, Marvin, Wonderdog.
