Weird how all the conservatives affirming their disgust for those who commit sexual harassment conveniently forget the names Farenthold, Meadows, and Trump.

It's almost like they're goddamned hypocrites or something.

As you probably know by now, you are correct. He bent over backwards not to impugn the speech of women in any way, irrespective of the merits of said speech.

And unless they use taxpayer funds to settle, like Farenthold, they usually call those women liars. Something Franken never did. Saying he denied everything is a lie trying to pretend that Republicans and Democrats handle these things the same way.

This is horrible. Isn't this sort of thing unconstitutional? Trump should be impeached for this.

    So much denial.
The resignation speech bears on the speech you quoted precisely because he's saying that you and others misunderstood the earlier response as "admitting to everything."

He reiterates in the resignation speech what he said elsewhere, that some of the accusations were absolutely not true.

Why are you (and John Oliver) in such denial that sometimes, the people ostensibly on your side may not always tell the truth?

He denied some things, even if he didn't outright call the women liars. Why is that so hard for you to get?

Well, he was also confronted with things like this ... which he is right to deny. But the actual groping is something he repeatedly said we should believe the women about.

The "joke" in this case being the adult equivalent of that kid in grade school that would get the teacher so mad that they would punish the whole class, then laugh because they don't care if they get punished as long as everyone else gets punished right along side them?

So this is a thing that the Alabama democratic party is trying, in order to get people out to vote next week.

Why do we care about this trash state again?

That has always been my understanding of an NDA too. That it's one of two things: an 'I agree to not talk about the [movie/game/tv show/whatever] that I am [acting in/crewing for/reporting on/whatever] until [such and such date] has passed' contract or an 'I agree to not talk about the [government/corporate/science/whatever] secrets that I learn about while I do my job until [such and such date] has passed/I will never speak of what I learn. Ever. Or else' contract.

But I just can't see a tv show getting away with making people on that show sign an agreement to...never talk about their experiences in making the show? That, to me, is a HUGE red flag and says that the legal team behind THE APPRENTICE was well aware that Trump was gonna say some monsteous, evil ****, and they didn't want any of it getting out.

And that...seems less-than-legal to demand of someone...doesn't it?

You can't forgot the modern classics like Clarence Thomas, Strom Thurmond, and Newt Gingrich.

Oh, those guys were FOREVER ago! Stop dragging up old news!

Meanwhile, did you know that pervert Bill Clinton got a BJ, and NOT from his wife?

(Though who could blame him. Hillary...ptui, amirite?)

Anyways, he got a BLOWJOB in the Oval Office! Disgraceful. And besides, the Democrats were supportive of the KKK and Lincoln - A REPUBLICAN! - freed the slaves.

NOW who is the party of civil rights? Hmm?

Breaking per CNN: Previously undisclosed emails show follow-up after Trump Tower meeting.

The British publicist who arranged the June 2016 meeting with Russians & Trump Jr. sent multiple emails to a Russian participant and a member of Trump's inner circle later that summer, multiple sources told CNN, the first indication there was any follow-up after the meeting.

The emails raise new questions for congressional investigators about what was discussed at Trump Tower.

Trump Jr. has for months contended that after being promised he would get dirt on Hillary Clinton, the brief meeting focused almost exclusively on the issue of Russian adoptions, saying there was no discussion with the participants after that session.
